Sans's POV

(Y/N) somehow got me out of the room but I am still not done with her. If she is optimistic, she wouldn't have been crying at Toriel's place earlier. I got to find out why. I looked at her while she was eating her plate of spaghetti. She looked at me and smiled. Damn, her smile melts my non-existing heart. Then she said, "Sans, why are you not eating?" "Right." She looked at me confused. I took a bite of the spaghetti. It was amazing. "Paps, this is the best Spaghetti I've ever had." "OF COURSE, THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS A GREAT CHEF, AND HE IMPROVES EVERY DAY. PLUS, I HAD THE ASSISTANCE OF (Y/N)." So that's why it's edible, (y/n) helped him with it. "Paps, it's impastable to make spaghetti as great as yours." She starts laughing while Papyrus screams. "NO PUNS AT THE DINING TABLE! "Come on Sans you owe Papyrus an Abolognese." She said while holding up her meatball. "NO (Y/N), NOT YOU TOO! SANS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER?" "Pastably nothing." "NYEHH!" Papyrus ate his plate of spaghetti and left while both of us are still laughing.

"Nice... He really hates puns, doesn't he?" "Yup, you're not bad after all. Thank you for helping my brother cook, by the way, his cooking was edible for once." "Does he usually add sprinkles in it?" "Not only that." "By the way, thanks." "For what?" "Letting me stay here." "You're welcome, hun." She blushed and smiled at me while walking to the kitchen to wash her plate. "SANS, EAT YOUR SPAGHETTI BEFORE IT GETS COLD." I shoved the spaghetti in my mouth. " God this is so good."

After eating, I joined Papyrus and (y/n) on the sofa. There were watching a cooking show by Mettaton. He was doing lots of poses as usual. "Wow, he's so cool." "OF COURSE, HE IS MY BOYFRIEND." "YOU KNOW WHAT I AM HEADING TO BED, NEED TO GO TRAIN WITH UNDYNE TOMORROW." "Night, Paps." "Good night Papyrus." "GOODNIGHT SANS, GOODNIGHT (Y/N)." Papyrus went upstairs and close his door behind him. I turned off the TV. There was an awkward silence until (y/n) broke it. "So... what are we going to do now? It's still early." It was 8.30 p.m. Then, I remembered what Toriel said. Let me get to the bottom of this. "Talk." "About what?" "Why were you tearing up at Toriel's place just now."  She looked shocked. "How did you- "Answer me." "It's nothing, I swear." "Plus, I wanted to ask you for a long time... Why did you fell here with a backpack?" Her face darkens. "Answer me!" She starts tearing up.

She told me about the tragic story about how her parents got killed and that her grandmother passed away when she was 20, and back there, she finally felt like she had a family. She started crying. I tried to make her feel better so I rubbed her back and said that I understand her feelings. " My dad was a scientist too after he made me and Papyrus, he was busy with his project, on how monster's determination worked. When I was 18 years old, I joined the royal scientists and worked with him. Somehow, the experiment went wrong taking my dad and some members away, remaining me and Alphys, she was 16 years old trainee at that time so. she wasn't involved in the experiment. Then, Papyrus and I moved to Snowdin after that and I quit the royal scientists." "You know what I think I am getting far from the topic, now tell me why you have a backpack with you during the fall." Her face darkens even more. "It's okay if you don't want to tell- "It's okay."

"So, my friends, Kenna, Alexa, and I just graduated, and they thought it was a good idea to go camping at Mount Ebott for a night and go for a pool party held by Athena at the hotel nearby the next day. Before this, Kiera's boyfriend was trying to ... seduce me but I pushed me away... then he started to make me do things by force. Thank god the janitor saw it b-before anything else happens. But Kiera saw all of this and decided to trust her boyfriend instead of me. Before pushing me into a dark hole, they told me that I wasn't their friend at all, they only used me and said I was a slut, that I was only capable of dying or living with monsters, or killed by them ..." She starts sobbing and curling herself up. I hugged her and said it was fine because she was with us now. "Monsters here are way better than them at least."  She continues crying while her face is in my chest. Then she fell asleep. I didn't know what to do and decided to teleport to my room and place her on my bed. She didn't let go of my jacket so I had no choice but to sleep with her. We cuddled up and I covered ourselves with a blanket.

Wow, she has been through a lot... I feel like protecting her from any other danger out there. This feeling is so warm. I want it to stay like this forever. I saw her cute face, she had a faint smile on her face. Wait, how many spare clothes that she even has? I going to bring her shopping tomorrow.
