Next Day...

There was sheer silence spread in the gigantic hall but it was unusual. The elder couple hardly focus eating the food from their plate while the young one kept munching his own ,his whole concentration was on his plate.

This is it.

The hell of patience break.

"What do you decide?,"Harsh asked calmly but his eyes told there was a storm of anxiety inside him.

"About what?,"his son questioned back without looking up.

"You know better what I AM TALKING ABOUT?"Harsh was pissed off by his behavior.

"Seriously Dad..,"he put the crumbled tissue back in the plate after wiping his lips."Is it the deal with Naik or the marriage?"he looked directly in the same pairs .

"The later one.."came his curt voice.

"Ohh..I have no problem with that.."he mouthed casually with neutral expression while straighting the creases of his blazer.

"What..?"his mother opened her mouth and then closed like a fish gasping for air.

"What..?"his forehead crunched .

"Randhir be clear with the choice of your words ,we are not playing riddles here.."Harsh gave him his final stern look which was an indication that he took enough of his non-sensible conversation.

"Okay.. okay..easy old man..you'll end up bolting your blood pressure.."he laughed throwing his head back.

"Randhir for god sake...I am asking you for the last time ..just answer me in yes or no.. ARE YOU READY TO MARRY SANYUKTA..?"Harsh's voice echoed in the hall and sudden silence again engulfed .

"Yes.."

"Huh.."

"Yes.."

"Yes what..?"his parents furrowed their eyes.

"Yes..I am ready to marry her..now am I clear with my decision or you want my written confession..?"He yelled annoyingly barging his palms on the wooden table.

His parents flinched a bit but moment later he was caged in their tight clutch and managed to maintain his body balance.

"Oh my god..I am so happy Randhir..you just fullfil my last wish of seeing you as a groom.."his mother kissed his forehead with moist eyes.

"Mom..it was over dramatic.."he rolled his eyes.

"No..I am really very happy."she sniffed while smiling.

A small smile also tug in the corner of Harsh's lips.He could not be more happier than finally watching his only child being agreed to marry the girl he chose.

"Good..I expected this from you.."Harsh loosely hug his son  hardly for few seconds.

"I am getting late for office, see you in the evening Mom.."Randhir kissed her cheek and vanished from the scene to avoid his parents presence.

"Harsh tell me it's not a dream."Renu asked her husband still not able to believe on her sense organs.

"Its not Sweetheart.. lets not waste another moment and tell about his decision to Mr. Kishore..he is waiting for our answer.."he said to her grabbing his mobile phone from the table.

"Yes.."she clapped her hands excitingly.

Harsh dialled Kishore number and after six rings the call was picked by Kishore Agrawal.

New Delhi...

Kishore was engrossed reading his newspaper while sipping his morning tea but his eyes went to his phone frequently as if waiting for someone's call.

"Apko kya lagta hai..unn logo ko humari Sanyu pasand ayi.?"Anju asked her husband sitting on the other chair with her hands knitted together in her lap.

"Hmm..humari Sanyu mein kuch aisa hai hi nahi jo kisi ko pasand na aye..baki kismat ki marzi.."Kishore inhaled a a large amount of air and released. He wasn't sure himself nor he wanted this relationship to end up.

"Hey Shiv ji..bas ek baar ye rishta pakka ho jaye..pure solah somwar vrat karungi.."Anju prayed joining her hands picturing Almighty in her mind.

Meanwhile Kishore's phone rang.He looked at the caller's ID ,his brows knit together in confusion because it was a private number.

"Kaun hai..?"Anju tried to look at the screen.

"Pata nahi..?"he swap the green button,"Hello.."he said .

"Aap?.."his voice stuttered while his eyes went to his anxious wife and then to no particular direction.

"Jee..bilkul..mai bata nahi sakta mai kitna khush hu.."he said with happiness dropping from his each words.

"Aap jab kahiye..hume koi problem nahi...bas ek baar hum mil kar baat kar le to acha hoga.."he again said.

"Mai apko thodi der baad call karta hu..ek baar Anju or baki family members se baar kar lu..jee Namaste.."he said and kept the phone on the table.

"Kaun tha ..or kis bare mein baat karne k liye keh rahe the aap..agar aap humare purani Dilli wale ghar ko bechane ki baat kar rahe hai to..."she was cut off by him.

"Kal somwar hai.."

"Nahi parso hai kyu..?"she looked puzzled.

"To fir parso se apne solah somwar k vrat shuru kar do.."he said amused by her innocent confused face.

"Par...abhi..to.."suddenly her confused face relaxed with a thousand volt smile when she understood the meaning of his words.

"Unhone haa keh di iss rishtey ko.."she asked to confirm.

"Haa Harsh ji ka phone tha..wo humse aage ki baat karna chahte hai..I mean engagement or uske baas shaadi..wo chahte hai ki 2 hafte(two weeks) ke baad engagement ho jaye..or uske ek acha muhurt dekh kar  shaadi ki date fix karenge.."he told her hue conversation with Harsh.

One soul who over heard their conversation while she was watering the flower pots which were hanging in the upper floor's corridor ,froze her her place.

Did she hear it right?

In response her heartbeats rose from normal to rapid .She kept her free hand on the left side of her chest and ran inside her room.

"Randhir ne iss rishtey ke liye haa bol di.."she murmured to herself sliding down on the closed door behind her back.

Her cheeks welcomed a faint shade of crimson.

"What about you?Do you agree on marrying to familiar stranger..?"her heart asked.
