Chapter 20

I went upstairs to take a shower because I just went swimming.

The boys come in.

Josh: Where's Maddy?

Anthony: I think she's taking a shower.

Kio: Yeah she left the pool early because of Bryce when he fell on her.

Bryce: She was standing right there and didn't move.

Kio: Well she tried to but you guys were being animals and moving all over.

Josh: (whispers to Bryce) are we gonna tell maddy now?

Bryce: About you know who? (Points at Quinton)

Josh: Yes come with me.

Josh and Bryce go upstairs and I come out of the shower in a towel about to go to my room to get dressed.

Bryce: Yo Maddy! We need to talk to you

Josh: Drags my arm into bryces room.

Me: Uh can I get dressed first?

Bryce: You can in a little bit.

Me: Okay what do you want to talk about?

Bryce: So i hear that you like someone in the sway house.

Josh: Is that true?

Me: Uhm

Josh: And his name is Quinton

Bryce: Do you like Quinton?

I was getting so nervous because in my head I was like "OMG how do they know?!"

Josh: Do you like him?

Me: Yes I do!

Bryce: Oh it's true then

Me: Yes it's true, I like Quinton, but how do know that I like him?

Bryce: It's obvious we see you staring at him you're always trying to talk to him, you even had that loud sigh the other day when we mentioned Cynthia in your video, so we kinda figured that out.

Me: Does Quinton know?

Josh: He knows

Me: WHATTT

Josh: Don't freak out!

Me: How long did he know?

Josh: Since yesterday

Me: Omg that's why he's been acting weird around me today.

Bryce: he's acting weird?

Me: Yes... wait a minute why did you tell Quinton that I like him before me?

Josh: Um I thought that he should know.

Me: Okay but why didn't you ask me first and then tell Quinton? What if I didn't like him and you told and everything would go wrong.

Bryce: Oh I didn't think about that.

Me: OMG I don't know what to do now

I started crying and freaking out.

Josh: Don't cry, just try talking to Quinton and see if he's comfortable around you.

Me: Okay

I went into my room so I can get dressed and I came back downstairs.
