Call Your Name - Chapter 14

SHE TOOK A NAP BUT AWOKE LONG BEFORE DAWN TO ANSWER THE DOOR.
She opens it for Lisa and Jisoo.
"Goooosh, it's been a year we were waiting for you to let us in." Lisa says while rolling her eyes, irritated on how heavy the bags she's been carrying. Roseanne collected the heavy plastic bags hanging on her arm. "Sorry, I just woke up. Come in."

Roseanne brought out the cups and drinks on the plastic bags.
"You only bought drinks?"
"Yes about that, we have a slight problem." Jisoo says, getting the Red wine bottle on Roseanne's hand.
"What is it?"
"JB won 5 consecutive times on the music shows he performed!"
"Wow!" Roseanne fills with amazement.
"So, of course the BPE is aware about it. I mean including the investors. And they went to the office today at 3pm to ask us if we will throw JB a party."
"Carry on." Roseanne says, still at bay.
"I was nervous because you are the best to talk about this matter and you're not there. So, yes I told them we will throw him a party in your house."
"What?!" Roseanne fixed her large eyes upon her with a strange wild stare. "What you're saying is... we will merge Jennie and Lia's party with JB's in my place?"
"Exactly!" Jisoo and Lisa says simultaneously.

"The invertors? In my house? You know how popular they are in our building; they can bring lots of attendees! You're crazy!" Roseanne walks back and forth. She's in panic.
"What if we relocate?" Roseanne asks.
"Roseanne, it's in 2 days we are out of time. We only have the BPE food crew to assist us."
Jisoo says.
"I hope you thought of that before you said yes to them."
Roseanne says, jerking her leg and hooking her hands on her waist.

"I'm sorry Roseanne. But it's too late to withdraw my invitation."
Wiping the dusty wine bottles, not even look sorry.
"Okay, I'll tell Jennie about it."

SHE WENT TO THEIR HOTEL THE NEXT MORNING.
"Come in Ms. Roseanne." Lia says while holding the door open.
"Good morning!" Jennie says while putting their breakfast on the kitchen table.
"Good morning. I'm here with bad news." She sits on front of the table. She sniffs the bibimbap and Korean egg rolls. Jennie watches her and smile. Pushing her share to the unexpected guest who is visibly hungry.
"Are you sure it's bad news? It doesn't look that way." Jennie teases her.

"JB won awards from her previous performances, so we are to include him on your farewell party. Is it alright?" Rosie asks while she breaks the chopsticks set down to the middle.
"Of course! Thanks for dropping by just to tell us the news." Jennie says, glimpsing at Roseanne while preparing another bibimbap. Then she sits across the table.
"Oh about me driving here. I want to ask you personally if..."

Jennie is interrupted, she sees Lia also watching Rosie on whatever she's going to ask.

"...if it's okay with you if you manage the food section for the party?"
Jennie looks disappointed for expecting something else, but still manage to smile after.
"Wow, sure!"
"JB's success can bring a lot of people in my house, so I really need your help. Thank you! Thank you!" Rosie says happily, put her hands together and bow to Jennie.
"Haha. That's enough talk. Eat your breakfast before you spoil it." Jennie says.
"Jennie unnie I need to get some milk, catch you guys later." Lia says, gets her brown coat hanging on the sofa's soft arm panel and goes out of the room.

They finished eating peacefully. Jennie collected the plates and put it on the sink.
Rosie cleans the table.
"No Rosie, I can manage."
Jennie says, trying to steal the towel from Rosie but Rosie moves it out of her reach.
"It's fine. I became a gatecrasher for 2 consecutive days now. At least let me clean your table."
"That's not enough reason to let our injured guest work in our kitchen, give me that."
Jennie is trying to reach the towel, but Rosie raises her hand which with the towel.
"That's very childish of you!" Jennie still trying to reach it from her hand, starts to get irritated.
"Call me childish but I won't put it down until you let me clean your table."
She says it in a way like she's rapping.
Jennie tries to jump for it, but she still failed. "Hahaha. Just accept your defeat."
She tries to jump again but her foot hooks on the foot ring of the bar stool chair and lands herself to Rosie.

Her hands are hanging on Rosie's neck and her face is on Rosie's shoulder. Rosie's arm is on her back, and she can feel the other hand with the towel getting down which she can reach if she wants to still reach it. But she savors her scent and the feeling of Rosie's intense hand on her back which stopped her from falling. She slowly withdraws from the hug and look at Rosie, her hands slide on Rosie's shoulder.
