Prologue

Iginala ko nalang ang aking paningin sa kabuoan ng kwarto nang biglang may pumasok dito.

I expected it to be a nurse, but no...it was a doctor this time. Beneath his lab coat is his white button-down shirt and black jeans. May stethoscope na nakasabit sa kanyang leeg.

His hair is waxed, he looked so neat. He stand so tall and confident. His lips looked so soft, red and kissable. His nose...eyes...built...lashes...brows....perfect jaws and well-carved face....everything....reminds me of...

My eyes widened when I realized who it was.

Bigla akong nanghina nang salubungin ako ng asul nyang mga mata.

Tiyak na kung hindi dahil sa tubo na ito ay kanina pa nakaawang ang bibig ko sa gulat...at pagkamangha.

Nag-iwas siya ng tingin at seryosong chineck ang monitor sa gilid ko gaya ng ginawa nung nurse na pumasok kahapon.

I was even taken aback when he....he held my hand!

Napapikit ako nang maramadaman ang kamay nya sa kamay ko pero agad din naman akong natauhan nang marealize na ichineck nya lang pala ang mga nakaturok sa akin doon.

Ang daya....

Ang daya daya. Sampung taon...sampung taon kong pinaghandaan ang pagkakataong 'to. I tried so hard to regain my confidence...I built my barriers...I did my best to move on......pero bakit ganun? Bakit....parang mas lumala pa ata tong nararamdaman ko?
