"I knew Josh since we were in elementary school. He was my bestest among friends. We grew up together. Sometimes he would come over to my house to study together. Once we were done with that we would talk about thousand different things. Josh said he wanted to discover every single hidden mystery of the Universe. I was mostly in astrology. So I would sometimes give him my hands to read the future. He, absolutely was not an astrologer, but it was like a game to us. Read one another's hand and foretell the unknown.

The days were passing pretty well and time started flying faster. From best friends, we became couple.
I loved him so so much. But more than that, he loved me. There was hardly any day we've spent apart from each other. We used to meet almost everyday.
Sometimes when his parents were out of home, he would call me over. I would go and make love..." Lilly stopped here. Tears filling up her eyes. Alex pulled her closer. Squeezed her shoulders then wiped a drop of tear with his index from her cheek.

"You can tell the rest later. If you're comfortable that way." said Alex, kissing the top of her head.
"No, I'm fine. It's just the thing that it's been so long i've talked to someone about Josh," Lilly tried to smile. Then continued,

"Then I resulted positive one day. It was my birthday the day before I knew I was pregnant. I puked all over the floor in front of house full of people who were invited to my birthday party. My mother thought I must have ate something wrong but that wasn't the fact at all. The next day I went to doctor for check-up and he said I was expecting. My mother was with me and I didn't know how to even look at her that moment. I didn't know right then what should I do, it felt like the whole world is crashing underneath my feet. We were only 15 and there was another mouth growing inside me. A part of me. A part of us.

Hearing the detail my father never bothered to talk to me again. He was conscious as well as concern about his reputation in public more than anything else.
But no matter what, I didn't want to abort my child and I knew Josh wouldn't want it either. So I dialled his number several over times, it rang but no one replied.
The same day, after dinner I was sitting on my bed when my cellphone rang. It was an unknown number however I picked it up and stayed their still. Without any moves, I can't recall how many minutes passed when I finally make a move and screamed my heart out.

Josh met a car accident. And was declared spot dead...." Lilly stopped.
None of them said anything. Alex sighed frequently. Held Lilly as tightly as possible against his chest.
Several minutes later, he said,
"Look at me. Look into my eyes Lilly." Even in this mostly darkened room his beautiful blue eyes flickered.
"You have a wonderful little girl Lilly. She is your strength. Josh is in her. Remember. He never left you. He can never leave you."
Lilly kissed his chin then said, "You know Alex, it's been so long that my heart started singing the same song it used to sing for Josh. When I saw you for the first time in the floral shop, I immediately fell in love with you. "
Alex smiled then kissed her lips until both of their lungs were urging for breathe.
"I need to go. Katy is alone with Amanda."
"You don't trust Amanda?"
"I'm confused."
Alex kissed her lips one last time and then got up from bed.
"I can drop you home. If you want."
"Thank you. But it's fine, I can go by myself."

They hugged each other a long time in the doorstep. Then Alex waved her bye and Lilly started for home.

When she reached Katy was sleeping in her room. Amanda was lying on the couch, talking to someone over phone. A constant car honking interrupted their conversation. She went over the door and Lilly stepped in.
"Where is she?"
"In her room. Sleeping."
"Did you guys ate?"
"Yes miss."
"Okay, thank you so much and sorry for being late."
Amanda yawned and said nothing, then gathered her things and left the house.

"Baby" said Lilly softly, sitting on her knees beside Katy's bed.
She is asleep. Couldn't hear her mommy.
"I love you so much baby." Lilly whispered and felt a strong voice was coming toward her way "I love you both too"
Lilly looked around to find the voice, then smiled, and tip toed left the room.
