Lilly got out of shower, towel wrapping  around her body. Standing in front of a mirror she took a cherry flavored body lotion from the table beside her. Then massaged it thoroughly all over her hands extending to the forearm.

She noticed Katy was sitting on her bed,  looking at her with big eyes.
"Baby," said Lilly,

"What are you doing here?"
Katy is quiet. Contemplating something.
Then said, "Mommy, I want to hear the story of clever crow and the baby fox. The one Mr.Huisman has told me."
"Story? Now?"
"Yes, mommy please."
"Okay mommy will tell you the story. But before that, Katy have to finish her homework first. Now let me bring your school bag here."

Lilly was about to step out of her room when Katy almost screamed saying, "Mommy! Awwwchhh!!!"
Lilly came running. "What happened?"
Holding her left leg Katy said, "It hurts." Then stole a glance of her mother.
"I warned you not to move to often dear. Lay down."

Katy laid down on the bed straight. Groaning softly. Lilly looked at her with pity in her eyes.
"Mommy, I'll be fine if you tell me the story now. My legs may stop hurting only then."

Wait a minute. Is her little girl trying to play trick with her?

"Katy? What's the matter?"
Katy said nothing. It's been already forty five minutes. Mr.Stranger should have done by now. Katy thought.
Lilly sighed. Then took her daughter in her lap and stood up. Katy wrapped her legs around her waist.

"Little Katy never lies to her mommy. Okay? "
Katy looked at her for a second, then laying her head against her chest she said slowly, "Little Katy never lies. Okay mommy."

Both of them came out of the room. Lilly put Katy down on the couch and went straight toward the kitchen.

'Oh no! What if Mr.Stranger isn’t finished yet!' Katy's heart beat went fast. Before she could do anything further she heard her mommy calling her by name.
Katy squeezed her eyes shut.
"Was anyone here when I was in the shower?" Lilly asked.
"Katy!"
"Mr.Stranger said he got some work to do and also he said to keep an eye on you. Sorry mommy." said Katy still clenching her eyes together.
Lilly said nothing and walked away.

'Alex!' she thought. This guy not only has cleaned all the remained dirty dishes but the whole kitchen. The hall room too.
The kitchen tiles are sparkling as if one could see himself through it.
But what's all these for? Didn’t she already agreed to go out with him in the afternoon? He didn’t left a thing for her.

Lilly looked around for him, but couldn’t find a trace.
He was gone. Okay.

Lilly went to her room to dress herself up. She almost forgot that she was rambling around only in her towel.
Then went back to the kitchen for making herself a cup of coffee where she found a small note sticking with the kitchen cupboard. Lilly frowned looking at it. Then unfolded the paper.

Dear Miss Hazel Green,
First of all, this whole thing may seem a little weird to you. I know i'm going fast. And it's may be too much for you to keep. But today I want you to go out without being worried about anything. You already have handled a lot of things only by yourself.
So, it's a tiny present from me.

Love, Alex.

P.S. See you sharp at 5. If possible, wear that red top you were wearing the night we went for our first walk. Under the yellow lamp post, you looked incredible.

Folding the letter in her hand Lilly went to her room.
She took out the red beautiful thing from inside the pile of clothes.
Her cheeks reddened as she mumbled 'Alex'
