Chapter 5

Anika: Good Morning Uncle

Anika carefully opened the curtains in the room as Tej was waking up

Tej: good morning beta

Anika: mein aapke liye kuch laayein?
(Should I bring anything for you?)

Tej: nahi beta, sab theek hai
(No beta, everything is fine)

Anika smiled and began packing her things back in her bag

Anika: das mint mein Jhanvi Aunti aayegi
(In ten minutes, Jhanvi Aunti will come)

Tej: beta thank you

Anika: aap mere saath baat kare ho?
(Are you speaking to me?)

Her eyes scanned the room looking for a nurse or doctor in the room

Tej: tujhse hi baat kara hoon mein Anika
(I'm speaking to you only, Anika)

Anika: kohi baat nahi Uncle, aapne mujhe rehne ke liye jagha diya
(It's nothing Uncle, you gave me a place to stay)

Tej: aur tere Papa ne mere jaan ko bachaya
(And your father saved my life)

Anika smiled on the remark and soon left when Jhanvi reached the hospital. Upon reaching the Mansion, she decided to freshen up.
On the other hand, Shivaay received a parcel on his name, which was kindly handed to him by his trustworthy bodyguard Khannah.

Khannah: Sir iss order per kohi naam nahi hai
(Sir on this order there is no name)

Shivaay: haa, meine apna naam nahi daala. Mujhe laga ki mein chupke Anika ko yeh doonga, lekin aab I changed my mind. Mujhe uska reaction dekhna hai
(Yes, I didn't put my name. I thought I'll secretly give this to Anika, but know I changed my mind. I want to see her reaction)

Khannah: okay Sir

He was going to go when Shivaay called out to him

Shivaay: voh ghar per hi hai, naa?
(She's at home itself, right?)

Khannah: haa Sir, meine kuch 30 minutes pehle unhe hospital se pick up kiya
(Yes Sir, I picked her up from the hospital some 30 minutes ago)

As Khannah returned to his work, Shivaay thought to take the parcel to Anika's room and apologise. He entered her room and kept the parcel on the bed, since no-one was in sight. Shivaay then turned around to leave after seeing her room empty but he stopped in his tracks.

Shivaay: Nahi Shivaay, tujhe sorry bolna padega. Galti kiya toh maafi maangna padta.
(No Shivaay, you have to say sorry. You made a mistake so you have to ask for forgiveness)

So he began to wait there for her. At the most she'll be in the kitchen or someplace like that. A clicking sound of a door lock opening rang through his ears and he turned to the washroom door. There she was stood in only a towel, going down from under her arms to her.....
He immediately turned around, knocking a hairbrush off the dressing table in the process.

Anika: AAAAAHHHHHH

She jumped in shock after seeing him in the room.

Anika: aap yaha kya kare hai?
(What are you doing here?)

Shivaay: Mein kuch dene aur bolne ke liye aaya lekin... mein jaata
(I came to give and say something but... I'll go)

Shivaay went to go out, still not daring to glance back.

Anika: rukho
(Stop)

Shivaay: rukhi?
(Stop?)

Shoot, that came out wrong, didn't it Anika?
