Jhanvi: araam se Tej
(Carefully Tej)

Tej had just been discharged from the hospital about an hour before, so everyone was obviously busy in making him feel comfortable at home. With such a big surgery and so much strain on the body, Tej was lucky to have been allowed to leave so soon. Because of this, the whole family was sure to be with him and provide him everything he needed.

Tej: Mein theek hoon
(I'm fine)

The look thay everyone gave him clearly stated that they didn't believe him one bit

Tej: sach mein
(Really)

Despite not being fully convinced, the family relaxed a little and helped him reach his room

Anika: agar kuch chahiye toh bas hume call karo
(If you want anything then just call us)

After they made sure he was okay, Tej had to practically shove everyone out of the room.

Shivaay: Anika

As everyone else dispersed in their own works, Shivaay called out for aanika before she could escape.

Anika: kya hua?
(What happened?)

Shivaay: kaha jaari ho tum?
(Where are you going?)

Anika: Kaam per, meine socha half day kar lungi mein
(Work, I thought I'll do a half day)

She explained to him but he bought her more to aside

Shivaay: Anika I have to ask you something

She was waiting for him to continue, but he looked very hesitant.

Anika: boliye, kya baat hai?
(Tell, what is it?)

Shivaay: Anika, mein soch raha tha ki kyu naa hum dono ek dinner pe jao? Yeh hume mauka dega, ek doosre ko ache se jaane ke liye?
(Anika I was thinking thag why don't the two of us go out for dinner? This will give us a chance, to get to know one another?)

Quite reluctant to break out the question, Shivaay eventually mustered the courage to politely invite Anika to join him for a pleasant meal. He wanted her to accompany him for an opportunity to converse over a delightful dinner.

Anika: matlab a date?
(Meaning a date?)

Or you could call it that, yes a date.

Shivaay: I mean agar problem hai toh...
(I mean if there is a problem then...)

Anika: nahi, mujhe kya problem hoga?
(No, what problem would I have?)

Well, what did you expect her to do? Give up the chance to go on a dinner date with a handsome hunk like him? Hah, not even in her nightmares would that happen. And anyways, it's only for fun, right?

Anika: voh... mera matlab ki-
(Well... I meant that-)

Realising how sudden her reply would have came out, she tried to justify herself but quickly shut up.
