(Im changing Veah's age to her just turning 7)
~ 2 days later~

Jacob's P.O.V

I woke up from my sleep and saw Chresanto still sleeping. I looked at him in awwe and slipped out of bed without waking him up. I went into the bathroom and did my morning routine. Once i was done i went into Veah's room seeing her watching tv.

Me: veah

I whispered so i would wake up chres

Veah: hm ?

Me: wanna help me make your daddy some breakfast ?

Veah: yea but wuick question

Me: what ?

Veah: why are we whispering ?

Me: so we wont wake him

Veah: ohhh ok

She went in the bathroom and i went downstairs getting everything i needed out. I washed my hand and got out 2 pans and a potz Neveah soon came downstairs washed her hands and started helping me. She picked up the bread confused

Veah: what i do with this ?

Me: were gonna make home made french toast like my mom talk me

Veah: oooooo i love french toast

Me: dont we all

I laughed and i mixed up some egg's mik and cinnamon for her

Me: ok now dip the bread in this mix for me then hand them to me

Veah: got ya

I cooked the bacon eggs and sausage and cooked the french toast as Veah handed them to me. After i was finish cooking the toast i cooked some grits.

Veah: ooo it looks like baby throw up

Me: but its good

Veah: doubt it

I laughed and cooked the grits.

Me: you ready to leave today ?

Veah: noo i wanna stay

Me: its for your safety

Veah: i guess

We told her yesterday that she was leaving today. She didnt want to but its for saftey reasons. As i finished i put together Veah's plate first. I sat it down on the table as she came running. I fixed Chres's plate and felt a pair of arms wrap around my torso. I smiled turned around facing him.

Chres: smells good in here baby

Me: thank you

Chres: did Veah eat ?

Me: yep she helped me to

Chres: i know i saw

Me: you werent sleeep ?

Chres: i was then i woke up to yall loud as laughing

Me: shut the hell up we not that loud

Chres: yea the hell yall are

Me: whatever but taste this

I playfully rolled my eye's and took a piece of french toast and dipped it in syrup. I looked at him and he already had his mouth open. I giggled and fed it to him. He closed him eye's and moaned. Im guessing it good

Chres: amazing. Now. I wanna eat.

I laughed and handed him his plate. I got mine together and sat down across from him.

Veah: Jacob !

Me: wassup ?

Veah: can you do my hair ?

Me: what so you want done ?

Chres: hey ? I always do your hair

Veah: but i want Jacob to do it anddd i want it curly like yours !

Me: i got you and awwwe poor Romelo its ok

I laughed and we continued eating........ After we finished we put our plates in the trash can. We eat on plastic plates in the mother fucker no one feels like washing dishes. We all snuggled up in the living room watching smurfs 2. Chres loves this movie ! Like he literally yells at the screen when they do something stupid ! AND he laughs at clumsy ! I laugh at him when he thinks im laughing at the TV. Veah loves the movie to but she only loves it because there blue. As we watch the beginning the door bell rang, guess who had to get it. -_- me. I sighed and got up running to the door. I opened it and a man i didnt know was standing there.

??: Jacob Perez ?

Me: umm yea

??: the end of this week is the deadline

I looked at him confused. He handed me a paper and left without saying a word else. I closed the door and opened the folded paper.

Dear Jacob

Your probably wondering who i am. Just know im your worst fucking nightmare. I want 68,000 by the end of this week. Dont pay then i will take something or should i say someone away from you. Think im bluffing ? Look up ?

I whispered then I hesitated then looked up. I closed my eye's then

POW !

I felt a pain on the side of my neck.

Me: SHIT !

Veah: JACOB !

Chres: Jacob you ok ?!

He rushed over to my side and looked at my neck.

Chres: your bleeding ! But your not shot

Me: what ?

Chres: the bullet grazed your neck Jacob it only took off a big amount of skin.

I gave him the paper and walked to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror to see a huge amount of skin gone.

Me: eww

I made a disgusting face then grabbed the alcohol and peroxide. Oh god help.
