"Holy shit, Kuroooooo," I screeched, flinging my phone somewhere in the room. It hit Kuroo in the face, making him yelp. "Aggaagagasheiheee is homosexual!"

The black cat didn't say anything. He walked up beside me, flapping his bushy tail in my face. I was sitting on the floor, in total shock. I was hoping for Akaashi to be gay, but I didn't think he actually would be...

Hastily, I snatched my phone back from across the room. Eyes wide and double chin clearly visible, I typed back as quickly as I could.

I held my breath, squeezing my eyes shut as I waited for his reply. My lip hurt from me biting on it, but I continued to wait for the vibration in my hand.

The phone in between my fingers shook and my eyes shot open.

A grin began to crawl onto my face and I scratched my neck, thinking of what to say next. I turned my head to look at Kuroo. He stared smugly at me, his paws tucked neatly in front of him.

"What should I say, Kuroo?" I asked, pursing my lips. "Do I like, change the subject or something? I mean... I guess we're supposed to be talking about the date..." My voice trailed off as I remembered that I had potentially scored a date with some cutie that I had only seen at the veterinarian clinic, even though he never actually said yes.

"Kuroo! What am I doing?!" I yelled. "I have to make this date perfect or else he won't like me! I've been single for so long! I've never had a boyfriend in like... my entire fucking life!" I groaned, throwing my phone aside and planting my face in my hands. "I don't even know where we'll go. I don't want it to be cheap, but I need to be able to pay for it..."

I felt Kuroo's fur brush against my leg lightly and his warmth left me as he walked away. I scoffed. "Kuroo, you just left me, I'm in a desperate time you motherfuc-"

I looked up. Kuroo had found a place to rest squeezed alongside a wall, his head dipped onto the floor and paws in front of him. But it wasn't Kuroo I cared about. Above his resting body was a flower bed of pictures taped onto the wall. They were pictures some friends and I took after we finished college.

One picture, in particular, caught my eye. It was of a close friend and me as he took a selfie in his workplace when I visited. He worked at a cafe that we loved to visit when we were younger. Slowly, my eyes widened and my mouth opened.

"Kuroo, you son a bitch! Thanks!" The grin that was on my face returned and I hurriedly snatched my phone from the floor and punched in a series of letters and words.
