"Kaliah wake up baby" I heard my mom "What time is it" I asked without opening my eyes "Time for you to wake up, help me clean and make breakfast" she said making me sigh

"Ma really I'm tired" I whined "Iman if you're not in that kitchen in the next 20 minutes watch what happens" she said and walked out. I got up and saw it was barley 7:26am. she really woke me up this early. I put on my all black ugg slippers and made my way to my bathroom.

Once I was done with all that I put on a champions hoodie with leggings because it was kind of cold. I walked towards my bed and unplugged my phone checking my notifications.

When I was finally done with that I walked out into the kitchen to see my mom already cooking. "Ma if you already did everything why'd you wake me up so early" I asked sitting on the island "because I was alone your brother and your dad are asleep and also I wanted to talk with you you're moving out soon how do you feel" she asked flipping a pancake

"Well ima go back to sleep" I joked laughing "just kiddingggg... I'm excited I mean nervous but excited" I said smiling

"Yeah I'm sure you are... what are you nervous about" she asked setting the plate of washed strawberries in front of me "cut the top off" she added

"like what I'm gonna do without you and dad also finding the right apartment is so stressful and my salon coming along it's just a lot all at once" I said putting the cut strawberries on a separate plate that will go on the table

"It'll all work out and you know that" she said making me smile

"I know" I said rinsing the strawberries one more time and setting them on the table "I'm proud of you for starting the salon" she said
