Advice from the ancient ones:
."The gods are not benevolent for their mercy does not matter. The real question is can you forgive yourself?" The old woman says, she is all knowing. That is all you know.

."Withholding grace is a self inflicted starvation.
One that will leave your veins empty." They pause, they don't finish.

."You have not met the edge of the forest yet but you will, you must meet me there." The man sinks back into ash.

."The blood of the covenant can no longer feed you, for even the sweetest wine in excess is poison. " the god speaks the truth... destiny is a narrow path with may doors.

."The earth may nourish you now but in the end we all return to the soil from which we came." His teeth are as sharp as daggers, fate  takes a liking to those who smile.

."Listen the the river, she knows where to take you." If the sea had a body this would be it, ancient and cruel.

."The way there is far but the way back is farther you'd best sing to the water on your journey." When the song fades you'll know your work is done.

.Listen to the ancient ones, they know all, for the wind whispers to them.
