EMELIA

I stood at the bar with Laura, Nicole and Reagan. It was peace and quiet until Diego showed up! It's like he's following me now. I'm sick of him and ughhh! I just hate him.
"Girls, I think I'm going to go get some air" I shrug while they all waved goodbye. I gave Diego a dagger before leaving the room. I sneak into the staffs private bar and walk over to the bottles of alcohol. I take a rich scotch bottle and pour it into a glass. I gulp it down but have a coughing fit right after.
"O-oh m-my god" I cough.
"Volcana" Diego says while walking into the bar and standing beside me.
"This is really starting to become an obsession" I say annoyed. "What do you want?"
He didn't respond. For a moment there, he stood silently looking at me. Watching my every move. I already had many encounters with this man and I had just realised how good looking he was. Dark brown eyes and memorising green eyes. He was standing upright, confident and brave. Honestly? He was so stupidly handsome that it made me shiver. Looking at him made me imagine things, scenarios....
That man I hate, was the most handsome human being I have ever seen. He had a huge "BAD" written on his forehead and he never failed to show me how dangerous he was. And at this moment I knew Diego king was going to put on an impossible challenge.
"We started on the wrong foot, Ramirez" he sighed. "Might as well get along because we're gonna have to see each other a lot" he shrugged.
*is he actually being nice right now!?*
"I don't trust you. at all" I glared at him.
"You don't have to" he said hesitantly.
"So what do you want?" I roll my eyes.
"As you probably know, Sophia isn't here. And I was wondering if you could supervise the other lifeguards?" He asked while pouring himself a drink.
"...Sure?" I hesitate but agree.
"Well That was all" he shrugged while straightening his suit jacket. "Goodnight, Eli"
That was just weird, he was actually being nice!?! There's definitely something going on here. I look down at the floor as my foot hits something hard. It was Diego's phone so I picked it up and chased after him.
"Yo! Romeo" I yell. But he just keeps walking up a hall that I've never been down before. It was door after door until it came to a stop. It looked almost like a meeting room. I could hear Diego talking and the rest of his men. I leant up against the door and listened in.
"The Garcia family will help transport our shipments over the border" Diego said.
Shipments?...
"We're going to have to transport these arms carefully" Gael replied.
"We can't get caught with the authorities" Cole joined in.
AUTHORITIES!?! What the hell is going on?!
"Where's Rei?" Travis asked.
"He should be here any minute" Diego replied. Shit. I need to get out of here. I turn around but with my luck Rei was standing right in front of me.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He said while I walked back into the door.
"I-I- uhhm" I was speechless. "Ah, shit!" I yell before falling into the room. And let's just say it definitely wasn't a meeting room.

DIEGO

I could hear Emelia and Rei speaking quietly outside and my plan was going perfect! Just how I had planned it.
"Ah, shit!" Emelia yells before falling into the room as the door opens wide.
Welcome to the Marbella, volcana.
She stood up from the floor and took a look around my armoury and my plan was about to fall into place. The look on her face made me laugh on the inside, she had no clue what the hell was going on. And plus the look on my men's face was full of confusion.
"Grab her!" I yell.
"wait, WHAT!" Emelia yelled and honestly I was really happy of how well this plan has went down.
But before any of my men could do anything she just collapsed and I as honestly shocked. I never knew this would happen, especially not to Emelia.
"I'll take her up to the spare room in the penthouse" I sighed.
"Diego, she's my cousin" Gael mumbled.
"You know the drill, Garcia" I reminded him. Gael stepped back but looked really disappointed in himself. I picked Emelia up and cradled her like a baby. I used the back elevator to avoid being spotted by anyone.

I got up to the penthouse and carried her carefully to the spare bedroom

I got up to the penthouse and carried her carefully to the spare bedroom. I lay her down on the bed I stood silently, admiring her. She was knocked out cold but now that I have her under my roof, she can't cause trouble. She looked so peaceful just laying there but I didn't feel bad about "kidnapping" her. She might hate me but this is for her own good and if she dares to step a foot out of line, she's going to get what's coming to her.
"Hey, Boss" Cole said quietly while opening the door slowly.
"Everything okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, Yeah. It's just Landon called" Cole shrugged.
"What did he say?" I say confused as I closed the bedroom door behind me.
"Marco Sullivan was the one who sent those cars, the night of the shipment" Cole replied.
"Has that bastard not learned!" I raised my voice.
"We need to be careful" he sighed.
"No. I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to KILL him" I scream.
"Diego, come on" Cole advised.
"Marco Sullivan, deserves to die" I complained.
"I know he hurt you" Cole said heavily.
"Cole, he killed my brother" I said, lost in my words.
"I know that and he will pay but we need to be smart" he insisted.
"Of course but when I get my hands on him, I'm going to shoot him right between the eyes" I said resentfully.
Marco Sullivan is my top rival in my business and he's also my enemy. He killed my younger brother, Mateo. It was an attack on my business about 2 years ago at the shipyard and it was The biggest shipment we had that year. Mateo was with Elijah guarding the shipyard and my brother was shot protecting me. I blame myself for it everyday but my nightmare all comes down to Marco because he was the real one who killed my brother. I also get my middle name from my brother and I wouldn't change it for the world.
Diego Mateo king.
