"No way..." I Blurt out. "MUM?!?" She takes a deep breath. "Hello, darling" she smiled. "What do you want?" I ask her. "I'm here for my husband, obviously" she rolled her eyes. I roll my eyes. "That man hated you" "Don't Be so cold, emelia" she crosses her arms. "What are you here for?.." I ask her again. "Money?" "No. I'm here for my husband" she sighed. "He's dying. BECAUSE OF YOU!" I yell at her. "It is not my FAULT!" She yelled back. "If you didn't make a deal with Luca, then everything would be okay!" I tell her. "He was sick.." she sighed. "If you had just paid the damn bills for his operation! He wouldn't have to suffer" I cried. "Emelia.." she said calmly while reaching out for my hand. "Don't. Don't touch me" I tell her and she takes a step back. I look up at Diego and he smiles softly. He grips my hand in his and holds it tightly. "Your dad phoned me, maybe a month ago. I heard I have a grandchild?" She sighs but tries to put a smile on her face. "N-" "Emelia's 2 months" Diego cut in. "That would be a pleasant surprise for you two?" She asks. "Indeed it was. He asked while dropping my hand. "Oh, sweetie. Every man that emelia has been with has had a background check" she said. "Mum!?" I shout. "I know all about your sneaky business" she shrugged. "I thought you had better taste" she rolled her eyes at me and at the moment I wanted to claw her eyes out. "YOU BITCH!" I yell and run at her but Diego's strong arms wrap around me, pulling me backwards. "Your lucky I'm pregnant!" I yell at her. "Is this the Ramirez family?" A doctor asked while coming out of my dads room. "Yes" I answer quickly. "It's time for you to say your goodbyes" the doctor sighed. My mother went in first and I waited for which felt like hours. My heart pounding, my legs trembling. My mind goes racing, I can't concentrate on anything. My dad was almost the only friend I had and if it was just me and him, I wouldn't have cried a single tear. I wouldn't have hid my smile away, Because he would be there for me. My mum comes out of room and me and Diego go in together. I was so scared, so scared of saying "goodbye". "Dad?.." I sigh while taking a seat on the stool beside his bed. "Hello, beautiful" he smiled and took his hand into mine. "This can't be goodbye.." I tell him. "Don't think of it like a goodbye, it's more like a 'until next time'" he smiles. "Until next time?" I question. He nods. "Until next time, Eli" "I'm going to do you proud, dad" I sob. "You already have" he smiles and I start to sob my heart out. I stand up from the stool and look down at his eyes. "I love you, dad" I smile while tears roll down my cheek. "This is it, bud" I sigh. "My time with you, has felt like a lifetime" he smiled. "I want to promise you something" I confess. "To keep my emelia Safe?" He asks and I laugh. "Something like that" I smile. "Treat her like a princess, she deserves it. She deserves the world, my friend. And I know that she has found her future in you" he said as his eyes start to close gently. "I love you, son" he smiles. "I love you too, dad.." I sigh and a tear rolls down my cheek. This man has been the closest person to act like a dad to me. I never knew my dad, he left when I was 12 weeks old. Emelia's dad is the kindest man I have ever met, he will always hold a special place in my heart. I look back at him and his eyes were shut, I look at the monitor and it stopped beeping. He was gone.
1 month later... A lot has happened in a month, Reagan is now 5 months pregnant, Emelia is 3 months, Laura is 2 months and Nicole is 1 month. There's been loads of shipments lately, business deals and new stock. The funeral for emelia's dad was a week after he passed and surprisingly emelia is still smiling. Her mum left after the funeral and honestly, good riddance. Anyway, I wake up to emelia standing in front of the mirror. She was admiring her baby bump.

I smile as A warm feeling travels up to my heart. I was happy, nervous? The one thing that scared me most right now was not being able to be the perfect dad. Rei and Reagan found out the baby's gender, their having a girl. I was happy for them and honestly, Rei is going to be the best dad there is. "Good morning, sleepy head" She giggled while climbing onto the bed to give me a kiss. She climbs on top of me and smiles as I place my hands on the bump.

"Good morning, you two" I smirk. "I felt movement this morning" She confessed. "Really?" I ask. "Yeah" she smiled. "I phoned the doctor just in case something was wrong but nope, it's totally fine to feel movement this early" she tells me. "I love that you phoned the doctors because of movement" I laugh. "Hey!" She chuckles. "I was making sure mr grumpy was okay" "Mr?" I ask. "I think it's a boy" she shrugged. "Sounds good to me" i giggle. "I need to ask you something" she sighs and sits down beside me. "What is it?" I question. "After this baby would you ever want another one?" She asks. "I mean yeah, I guess so" I shrug. "I'm being serious" she shrugged. "I think I want another one" "When the time comes and if that's still what you want, I'll gladly have another baby with you" I tell her. "Sounds Like a plan" she giggles. "Also, you better get ready. Rei and Reagan's engagement lunch is starting in a hour" she reminds me. Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that Rei got down on one knee and proposed to her after 7 months of passion. This is probably one of the smartest things he's done, he's been smart this one time. I can tell just by the way he looks at her that he's madly in love with her, Just like I am with emelia. Like I've said before, she's the most amazing person I've met. She makes me happy like no one has before, she's my rock, my person. I couldn't imagine being here with any girl other than her.
