He's not even sure he can trust HAPPY
No doubt that, further down the line, this instills some SERIOUS trust issues in Peter

He literally beats the crap out of Peter
for looking up to Tony?
for figuring out that he planned on killing so many people and trying to stop him, like a true hero?
whatever his reason was, it's
BULLSHIT
Peter's, what, 15? 16?
He's not even out of HIGH SCHOOL
and Beck literally beat him
After Peter gave the last thing Tony gave him to Beck
All these other villians, except Thanos, understood a CHILD
DO NOT HURT A C H I L D
they are so young and innocent
and trust so easily
and their trust takes so much to break
but when it does, it breaks for good
now this could be the directors' version of Peter's Afghanistan
but come on!
at least wait until he's like at college or something
goddamn
and another thing:
Peter's spidey-sense didn't work
it just didn't
as seen in their later showdown, Peter can use his spidey-sense to dodge any REAL threat
but before?
i have two theories (both are sad):
1) In IW, Peter's Blip-ing is a lot slower
why?
because Peter's spidey-sense and his super-healing detected it and tried to protect him
so, not only did he feel himself dying, he could feel his body disintegrating and then coming back
eventually, the Snap overcame him and he Blipped
2) he's still upset over the fact that Beck betrayed him
he TRUSTED Beck
like he trusted Tony
and Beck stomped on it and destroyed it
In turn, that would've destroyed any normal teen, let alone PETER
In short:
Quentin Beck is a dick who doesn't even deserve to burn in Hell
he can perish in purgatory, where hungry monsters seek out to destroy your soul
And guess what?
Illusions don't work on them
SO
Quentin Beck is going to die a cowards death like the cheap, psychotic, dick magician he is!
