"KAT! COME ON!" I yelled from the front door as Devyn and Tara walked out. We were finally going to pick out their dresses and get mine fitted. "I'm SORRY." She yelled and ran out of the house as I held the door open, once she was out I followed, closing the door.

"Let's gooooo." I said and got in the drivers seat. I was in such high spirits lately, and was getting really excited for the wedding. It was stressful trying to plan it but it was also so exciting.

"So has your mom come into contact with you since she found out about Mia?" Kat asked and I sighed, "no, thank god. She's pissed though." I said and Tara laughed, "let her be! She's a bitch." She said and I nodded, "tell me about it." I mumbled.

"Do you think she's going to try and crash the wedding?" Devyn asked as I pulled into the parking lot, "I don't think she will. She better not or I'll lose my shit." I said and got out of the car, "I don't think she will either, it's weird that she even called you." Kat said as we made our way inside, "yeah..." I said and shook my head, trying to forget about her and the whole thing. I was happy. The wedding was going to be perfect. I was going to continue bring happy.

"Hello ladies!" Kara said and came up to us, she did such an amazing job with our last appointment that we requested her for this one too. "How are you?" I asked and gave her a little hug, "I've been great, how are you doing miss bride to be?" She asked and I laughed, thinking about how crazy life has been since I have seen her, "I've been...good." I decided and the girls laughed, "riiight. I'm excited to try some dresses on!" Tara said and jumped up and down.

"Okay well we are going to have Cora go try her dress on while you guys browse the bridesmaids dresses. Sound good?" Kara asked me and I nodded, "sounds good!" I said then followed her to the tailor station. As soon as she pulled the dress out I got butterflies in my stomach, it was even more beautiful than I remembered.

It took a minute for me to get in it, but when I did it fit like a glove. I felt tears fill my eyes as I looked at myself in the mirror, "I have to learn how to not cry in it." I said with a laugh and pressed my fingers onto my eyes so the tears wouldn't fall onto my cheeks. "I was never able to master it." The seamstress said with a laugh. I spun around in the mirror and giggled thinking about the look that would be on Colby's face when I walked down the aisle to him.

I stayed in the dress for a couple more minutes, soaking in the joy it gave me, then changed to go see what dresses the girls picked.

"Okay these are the options so far." Kat said and gestured to the rack, "I'm not even gonna look, just try them on." I said and sat down, grabbing some sparkling cider.

We spend the next four hours going through all of them, when we finally decided on a long flowy dress with thin straps and a v-neck. Tara and Devyn's would be a light green, and Kat's would an emerald green. They all looked so gorgeous in their dresses that I was getting overly emotional, "you guys look so pretty." I said and fanned my eyes with my hands, trying to stop myself from crying again. "Aww!" Kat yelled and ran to me, giving me a hug, then Devyn and Tara joined. "I love you guys so much." I blubbered as they all squeezed me. "We love you!" Tara said happily.

We stopped at In N Out on the way home, getting food for the boys as well. When I got inside I heard Mia screaming upstairs, causing me to frown and head up there. "What's going on?" I asked and looked at Colby as he tried to comfort her, "she's been at this for almost an hour now, I don't know what's wrong." He said and looked at me with a slight panic in his eyes, "Okay, take a deep breath, she's eaten? And is changed?" I asked and he nodded, "does she have a fever?" I asked and he shook his head, "I didn't even check." He said and I went over to grab the thermometer, when I tested her she was reading 99.5, "hmm she's a little warm. Are you not feeling well little one?" I asked her and leaned down to give her a kiss on the head.

We tried calming her down for a little longer but nothing was working, "hold on." I said and stuck my finger in her mouth, rubbing my finger along her gums. Sure enough they were a little swollen as she bit down on my finger slightly. "I think she's teething." I said quietly and grabbed a teething towel as Colby bobbed her up and down.

I walked up and put the towel in her mouth as she looked at me, still sobbing. As soon as she bit down on it her cries died down. She stared at me with glassy eyes as she chewed on the cloth. I brought my hand to her head and smoothed her hair down, "remember when you thought you would be a bad mom?" Colby asked and I nodded, "yeah." I said quietly still rubbing hand gently on her head, "I never want to hear you say anything like that again. You're amazing." He said as I let my gaze travel to his face. "I'm really trying." I breathed out and smiled slightly as Mia laid her head on Colby's chest, still looking up at me.

"I mean it Cor, you're amazing. I would have never figured that out. I just panic, I was about to take her to the doctors but you figured it out in less than ten minutes." He said and rubbed Mia's back slowly as I held the cloth in her mouth. "You might not have figured it out as quickly but you were still trying, and that's all that matters, you stayed by her side, trying your best to bring her comfort. She really has the best dad ever." I said and smiled at Mia, "right love, do you have the best daddy ever?" I asked and she giggled looking up at Colby.

Mia eventually went to sleep after chewing on the cloth for about 30 minutes. "Come on, I brought you food." I said with a smile and made my way out of the nursery. Colby followed behind me as I went into the bedroom to change into comfortable clothes, "how was dress shopping?" He asked as I got changed, "it was good! We found the dresses and my dress fit, so I can't complain." I said and smiled at him.

"We have to go to the venue tomorrow right?" He asked and I nodded, "yeah, we have to map out how we want the aisles to look and stuff, it's going to be a long day." I groaned and started to leave the room but he grabbed my arm and pulled me so I would fall into him, "have I told you how excited I am for you to be my wife?" He asked and grinned at me, "only a million times." I said and scrunched my nose at him playfully. "Six months from now you'll be mine forever." He said and cupped my face gently. I smiled widely at him,

"I'm already yours forever."
