Third Person POV:
After Becca ran out of the house, Kairi and the other two boys stared at Alvaro disappointedly before leaving to the party. After a couple of hours, everyone started to get worried because Becca had not returned yet and the party was almost over.
"Boys have you seen Rebecca? She hasn't been home all day and she completely missed the party." Stacia asks, her voice slightly breaking as if she were about to cry.
"No ma'am." Alvaro says. Stacia looks at Alvaro angrily knowing he was lying because he only called her ma'am when he was hiding something.
"Alvaro Romero if you don't tell me the truth right now, there will be consequences so severe you'll be crying harder than the day you were born! Do I make myself clear?" She yells, grabbing the attention of the remaining guests. Rio walks over to the group and lays a hand on Stacia's shoulder, attempting to calm her down.
"Go on Al. Tell her what you said to Becca after she and Kairi kissed. Tell her about how Becca punched you so hard you had to pop your jaw back into place." Alejandro says, glaring at Alvaro.
"What did you do?!" Stacia yells. By now, the remaining guests had snuck out because they felt uncomfortable, leaving the group alone inside the house.
"Fine I'll tell her since you're too much of a pussy! Becca and I kissed, but it was an accident. Alvaro found out and got all pissed so we ran to my house. When we let him in, Alvaro and I got into a fight and Becca stopped it, explaining that the kiss meant nothing to either of us. Alvaro then proceeded to tell Becca she must have asked to be raped. Then, Becca punched him and ran off. We haven't seen or heard from her since then." Kairi says. Stacia raises her hand and slaps Alvaro.
"Go find her! All of you! I don't want to see anyone in this house until she is home! Do I make myself clear?!" Stacia screams. The children nod and Rio grabs her keys and jacket before heading out to her car with Addie, Adam, Alvaro, and Gio.
"We'll check the park." Kairi says, leaning down to Rio's open window.
"Alright, we'll check the alleys and drive up and down the street. Becca is paranoid, she wouldn't go farther than the park and the convenience store. So don't give up until you see her, understand?" Rio replies. Everyone nods. Kairi grabs two bikes from his garage and puts them in his car before heading to the park.
...........................................................
"You guys take the bikes down the path and I'll look on foot." Kairi says as he gets the bikes out and gives them to the boys. They go their separate ways. Kairi lets out a low sigh as he walks towards the woods. It was dark and Kairi only had the flashlight on his phone to help him see, but it did help much. He tried to remember where the old schoolhouse was because there was a better chance of finding Becca there than anywhere else, but he couldn't see anything.
A couple more hours pass and everyone has gathered at the playground except Kairi who is currently lost without signal in the woods. The group decides to go to Alejandro's house to sleep and then continue looking for Kairi and Rebecca in the morning when there is more light.
Becca's POV:
"Becca? Are you in here? It's Kairi, please come out." Kairi's voice echoes through the room. I slowly stand up and walk towards his voice and I feel him wrap his arms around me.
"Hi." I say, staring into the darkness around us as I try not to show him I have been crying. He lifts my chin and stares at me for a few seconds.
"I want to do this properly this time." He whispers. I tilt my head a little and he uses that as an excuse to kiss me. We pull back to catch our breath and I look at him.
