CHAPTER DIEZ

I decided to have a girls day with
my girl friends, including Charli,
Addison, Camille, and Sophia.
Dixie and Avani were both busy
so they couldn't make it..

"This is some bomb frozen yogurt."
Charli states in between bites, as
we all sit in the middle of the mall
taking a snack break.

"The way I'm lactose intolerant
and y'all are just bullying me."
Sophia jokes as she eats her
Auntie Anne's pretzel bites.

"So Camille tell us about
your new boyfriend." I tease,
hoping she'd spill something
about this mystery boy from
a tiktok video.

"If I tell you, you're just
going to end up scaring
him away, like the last
dude." Camille chuckles
before throwing away her
empty container.

"Nooo, I won'tttt." I whine
playfully as we head inside
of Hollister.

Addison and I split up from
the others as we head into a
different section. I like Hollister
but $80 for some jeans is not
the move.

We roamed around the mall
some more for awhile until
we see none the other than
Lil Hoodie show up. Definitely
just a coincidence, I never
see boys just coming to the
mall alone. Charli is trying
to make me jealous huh?

I'm not that cool, I need to get
over myself. It is probably all
just one big coincidence. Now
who's sounding somewhat
jealous? Me.

I try not to let Chase bother
me but this was supposed to
be a girls day, no stupid men.
I mean I don't know where
this jealousy is stemmed from,
but maybe it's because Charli
can pretty much have anyone
she wants.

if this brain don't shut up
being extra and problematic.

"Guys, my mom is here I have
a shoot in an hour I need to get
ready for." Sophia says with a
wave, as she disappears in
the other direction.

"Do you two want aloneee
time?" I ask, in a petty as
fuck way even though it kind
of just slipped. And the other
day I was just saying I don't
get jealous, I stay on the
contradicting shit.

"I mean sure." Chase chuckles,
of course he doesn't know
about Charli and I. But I swear
to god if Charli suggests we
get fake boyfriends or some.

"What the fuck was that earlier?"
Charli asks over the FaceTime
call a couple hours after I made
Camille and I leave the mall so
Charli and Chase could have
their date.

"Giving you and your boyfriend
some alone time." I state with a
shrug, causing Charli to roll her
eyes at me.

"Jealousy is not a good look
on you." Charli chuckles before
continuing, "but nothing is going
on with him, you got your guy
friend and I got mine."

"I'm not normally a jealous
person, but I don't even know
why you're making me like
this." I laugh awkwardly.

"I guess both of us have to
work on this jealousy stuff.
But if you act up again you'll
catch these hands." Charli
jokes with a chuckle.

"Well do you want to go to
the movies tomorrow night?"
Charli asks before continuing
and teasing me, "even
though I should be mad at
you right now."

I love that Charli can forgive
easily but that also might be
a problem in the future. I
laugh before questioning
back, "Yeah sure, what time?
Does 8 work?"

"That works because the
movie I picked starts at like
8:15." Charli chuckles with
a small smile.

"I'm guessing you are
making it a surprise then
huh?" I ask with a laugh
not knowing what else to
say or talk about.

Charli rolls her eyes before
replying with, "you've
mentioned that you want to
see it, so there is a hint I
guess."
