CHAPTER TREINTA TRES

"I invited the girl
I'm talking to over
today." Charli tells
us.

"This about to be
hella awkward."
Dixie chuckles.

"I mean if the new
girl is bothered by
me being here then
yeah, but I don't
care if she invites
the girl over." I
shrug.

We continue to
chill, waiting until
we can meet this
secret girl.

"Can we are least
know her name
or something like
that?" Avani asks.

"You guys can wait
a couple of more
minutes." Charli
rolls her eyes with
a chuckle.

"You treating this
like you're about
to drop an album
name and cover."
I joke.

"Charli's releasing
her girlfriend line."
Dixie laughs.

"Shut up, I'm just
excited." Charli
chuckles, blushing.

"When she wasn't
excited to reveal
you." I joke again
with a playful pout.

We finally hear
the doorbell ring
and all of us look
around kind of
awkwardly.

"I'm answering the
door." Dixie states
lightly pushing
Charli out of the
way.

"Bitch." Charli says
running after Dixie.

The rest of us just
stay in this room
waiting. Hopefully
the new girl is nice.

"So we just stay
here or?" Avani
asks with a chuckle.

Charli, Dixie and
the girl at last
come join us.

I immediately look
over at Camille who
is just as shocked
as me to see who it
is.

"Woah and the plot
thickens." Camille
chuckles to me.

I mean I don't care
if they date but
Jaylee is up to
something. Charli
isn't even her type
and she's about to
turn 18, I know for
a fact she'd rather
date a 19 year old.

Charli introduces
everyone to Jaylee
including me, I
guess she doesn't
know.

"I'll be right back."
I state as I get up
to go to the kitchen.

Not to long after
Jay seemingly
followed me.

"I kind of wasn't
expecting you to
be here." Jay
starts.

"First you knew
Charli was
introducing you
to friends and
second, I told you
I was on good
terms with her."
I state.

"Good terms can
have different
meanings." She
defends.

"Whatever, I
really don't care if
y'all date but don't
be using Char for
clout." I seethe.

"You're so cute
when you try to be
all scary." She
chuckles with an
eye roll.

I look at her
uncomfortably as
she stares me
down like miss girl,
don't try to make
a move on me.

"I wish things
would've happened
differently." Jaylee
hums pushing hair
behind my ear,
making me feel
very uncomfortable.

"What's going on
in here?" Charli
questions looking
very confused.

"Your crazy ex
girlfriend here is
harassing me."
Jay states.

"Oh my god I
fucking knew it, you
only unblocked me
just to play with my
life again." I yell.

"Please, you always
have to be at the
center of attention."
Jay argues.

The rest of the girls
coming into the
kitchen to see what's
going on.

"So you two know
each other?" Charli
asks still looking
confused.

Sighing I answer,
"Yeah she's my ex
who spread hella
lies."

"Well I apologized
for that and now
you acting like you
the main character."
Jay defends.

"Please, I know you
and how you act."
I object rolling my
eyes.

"Fight, fight." Dixie
chants jokingly and
charli passes her a
glare.

Everyone goes
silent as they just
stand there
watching us like a
movie.

"I think you should
leave." Charli says
to me looking at
the floor.

"Fuck you too." I
huff before flipping
Charli off because
I'm over dramatic.

Jay standing there
watching me with a
smirk as Camille
and I leave.
