"Hey." I say nervously to my ex Jaylee as I sit down at the booth.
"You're still short I see." Jay teases with a smirk.
"And you still dress like a fuck boy." I chuckle teasing back with the same energy.
A waitress quickly comes over and takes our orders before leaving us to converse.
"I saw that you were dating that Charli girl. How'd you do it?" Jay questions.
"To be honest I don't even know. But we ended it." I answer with a shrug.
"And Sophia outed you guys. She hasn't changed much has she?"
"Can we not talk about this?" I ask getting annoyed. Jay was always kind of nosy and into drama.
"Right right, I forgot you were sensitive." Jay rolls her eyes.
"Fuck you." I shake my head with a small chuckle. Clearly Jay is still not serious about anything.
"Say lessss." She smirks jokingly.
"And that's my cue to leave." I joke getting up and sitting back down.

"Thanks for the food richie rich." Jay jokes as we head out of the restaurant.
"Okay so why did you really want to meet up?" I question.
"You always think I have a motive, I'm just trying to make up with you." She shrugs.
"So you don't want to get back together then?"
"How cute but no ma'am I'm talking to someone right now." She replies.
We continue to walk down the sidewalk to who knows where and talk more about stuff and girls.
"Do you still talk to Kenzie?" Jay asks randomly. Probably because Jay was always sus of how close Kenzie and I were. But I'm pretty sure Kenz is straight.
"You're so nosy, but anyways yeah I might stay over there this weekend." I answer
"Bruh I was just asking a question, go play with fairies or some." Jay jokes.
"I missed this." I smile, feeling happy for the first time in a minute.
"I missed this too, it's nice we can still act normal." She replies.
