How nobody has written this one yet, I have no idea. A story about a boy on a journey to save his little sister, and a character who's entire story revolved around his little brother. Itachi was meant to be in a Demon Slayer crossover.
This story will start the same way most good crossovers involving Itachi start, with a recap of episodes 339-340 of Naruto Shippuden. Itachi's soul ascends after telling Sasuke he loves him and he gets de-aged and sent to the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba. There, he's found, and adopted, by the Kamado family and raised as Tanjiro's big brother.
While there, he learns the Hinokami breathing and sword techniques from Tanjuro (the father) before he dies. From then on, he travels with Tanjiro throughout the series and changes things as he goes.
