After her death at the hands of Mine, Seryu wakes up on the day Tatsumi arrives in the Capital. She decides to use this second chance to stop some of Night Raid's assassinations before they happen but finds out some startling truths instead.
While staking out the Yamagishi (That's the name I'm using for Aria's family.) mansion, koro, after smelling something, leads her to the torture shed and Seryu is horrified at what she sees. After nobody she goes to lifts a finger to take action against the family, and finding out that the two survivors are from Tatsumi's villiage, Seryu begins to have doubts about the Empire she's serving. And as the story goes on, she begins to have doubts about herself and all she's done.
"Surely their other victims weren't this evil... right?"
