Picnic Dates (Denki Kaminari X Reader)

          "Y/n. Close your eyes. I'll squeeze your hand when you can open it," Denki told you while you held his hand, "Now I know how much you hate bugs crawling on you, so I give you," he lightly squeezed your hand and you opened your eyes taking in the back of his truck with two blankets and a small picnic basket, "Pickup Picnics!" He stood in front of the truck with an expectant look watching for some kind of reaction from you, and as you took in the pickup truck noticing little lights draped over the back of the window and your favorite genre of music playing from the front. Your smile grew wide as you slowly walked towards Kaminari, "Denki. This is amazing! I can't believe you did all of this for me." Kaminari glowed under all of the praise and then blushed, "I'm so glad. You have no idea." He held his hand out to help you into the back of the truck and he joined you in the back of the truck sitting on the blankets.

           "I can't believe you remembered that I've always wanted to have a picnic date. What's the special occasion," you weren't used to casual dates with Kaminari instead they were usually exciting dates like amusement parks or going to an arcade together. "Well, I thought it would be more fun to spend time together. And maybe we could cuddle together," Kaminari blushed as he ran his hand through his blonde hair. You couldn't help but smile at the adorable face your boyfriend was making so you leaned forward kissing him on the cheek feeling the slight shock from the contact. He turned his head, "I think you missed. Let me help you," and he connected his lips onto yours and you felt an electric shock causing the kiss to become more passionate. After the kiss broke, you placed your forehead on his just breathing in the calm atmosphere hearing the music and enjoying the feeling of electric pulses between the two of you.

         "Now let's eat," you enthusiastically said while he nodded moving the picnic basket and opened it pulling out various favorite foods of both of yours and you enjoyed the scents wafting from them. The food made your taste buds sing and you couldn't help but sigh from the taste. After finishing your meals, you and Kaminari talked about various topics and cracked lots of bad jokes. The music and the food made the entire date amazing and refreshing from the prior dates, and the warm atmosphere made both you and Kaminari yawn and you stretched out in the back of the truck. "Hey, Denki, can I lie here," you gestured to his chest where he was stretched out and gave him a small smile knowing that he would agree and of course he smiled, "Yeah, go right ahead." You placed your head on his chest hearing his heartbeat speed up at the sudden touch and then move back to a normal pace soothing you to fall asleep.

          When you woke back up, you found one of the blankets on top of the both of you and you could hear the light snores of Kaminari and you felt yourself grinning at the cuteness of Kaminari. When he woke up, he noticed that you were still lying on his chest, "Just couldn't get enough of me, could you," he instantly said grinning mischievously to which you slowly moved forward off his chest, "No, I just didn't want to wake you up. You make the cutest face when you're sleeping." To those words, he blushed, but he decided to change the topic, "Did you enjoy the date?" You smiled before kissing him on the cheek, "Are you kidding! I loved the date, this was probably one of the best dates we've been on." "So are you ready to go back," his question seemed unsure almost as if he regretted asking, but you stretched back down lying back on his chest with a small smile when you saw Kaminari's relief, "Let's stay here a little longer."
