I am so stressed! Parang hindi man lang nabawasan yung workload ko. Ang pag-leave ko sa trabaho para sa charity work sa Sorsogon ay katumbas ng patong patong na trabaho. To the point that it has already been a week! Ang dami talaga.

May galit ba sakin yung sarili naming kompanya? Tss.

Even though I'm already at my condo, dinala ko talaga rito ang mga tratrabahuhin ko. I did not even eat dinner yet. Pinatay ko rin ang phone ko para walang maka-abala.

Tinignan ko ang oras at nakitang past 9pm na. My last meal was this morning! Take note, salad lang iyon. Ugh.

I heard the doorbell rang kaya wala akong ginawa kundi tignan kung sino ang nasa labas. Para akong zombie na nagmamarcha!

"Luna! Bakit hindi ka sumasagot sa text?!" I was taken aback by Javi's sudden burst of anger. Anger?

"Off." Simple kong sabi. I am so drained to even speak.

"Are you sick?" Kinapa niya ang noo at leeg ko. I shrugged. Pagkatapos ko siya papasukin ay dumiretso na ako sa sala kung saan ako nagtratrabaho.

"I don't have food. Mag-order ka nalang." I sighed and went back to work.

Nagulat naman ako nang isara ni Javi ang laptop ko. My forehead creased. Hindi pa ako tapos magrender!

"Why did you do that!? Bukas na ang deadline non, Javi!" I hissed. I tried to turn it back on but he pulled me up.

"You rest, Luna. May lagnat ka!" He worriedly said.

"Lagnat lang yan, hindi pa naman ako mamamatay. I just really need to finish my work." Malumanay kong sabi. I don't have the strength to argue.

"Stop being so stubborn. Gumising ka nalang ng maaga bukas. You badly need to rest." Javi said. Hindi narin ako nakipagtalo dahil ang sama talaga ng pakiramdam ko.

"Fine. Wake me up at 5." I weakly said. He guided me to my room and helped me sleep. Binigyan niya na rin ako ng gamot. When I closed my eyes, I immediately dozed off.

I heard deep loud voices coming outside my room kaya nagising ako. I woke up very sweaty. Pinatay niya pala yung aircon. I also noticed that it's still dark outside. Anong oras na ba?

"Ano ka ba niya ha? Ex ka lang naman!" Kumunot ang noo ko sa narinig.

Dali dali akong bumangon dahil nakarinig ako ng kalabog. Are they fighting? I sighed.

"Get the fuck out of here." Naabutan kong kinekwelyuhan ni Aiden si Javi. If only their eyes can kill, kanina pa siguro sila wala.

"What are you guys doing!?" Nagulat ata sila sa presensya ko kaya agad silang napabitaw sa isa't isa.

"L-luna." They both said. Tinaasan ko sila ng kilay.

"Kung magpapatayan kayo huwag dito sa lugar ko. Both of you, get out!" I angrily said. Tinignan ko ang orasan at nakitang isang oras lang ako nakatulog!

Pinagpagan ni Javi ang kanyang sarili at lumapit sakin, making Aiden's hand form a fist.

"Nagising ka ba namin? Sorry! It won't happen again. I promise." Nakayukong sabi niya. I heard Aiden scoffed.

"It will never happen again because I won't let you go near her. Get lost." Matigas na sabi ni Aiden. Susugurin ulit sana siya ni Javi pero napigilan ko.

"Leave my fucking unit!" I impatiently said.

Javi looked at me with his sorry eyes and eventually left. Nilagpasan ko lang si Aiden at dumiretso sa kwarto para magpahinga. I was about to close the door when he blocked it by his hand. He didn't even bulged.

"You're still talking to that guy!?" He irritatingly asked. Hindi ko siya pinansin at nagtaklob nalang ng kumot.

"Talk to me baby, please." I was tempted to answer him but I didn't. He sighed.

"Look around you. Be careful who you trust. Even salt looks like sugar." Aiden meaningly said. What does he mean? May alam ba siya na hindi ko alam?

I heard the sound of the door closing and that's my cue to open my eyes. Parang biglang nawala yung antok ko sa sinabi niya.

I got up and walked to my living room. Nagkalat pa rito ang mga documents ko. But this one envelope caught my eyes. Right, ito yung binigay sakin ni Tita Elle na hindi ko pa nabubuksan.

Nakita ko din ang mga ilang importanteng papeles na nandito sa coffee table. Why is this here? Hindi ko na naaalala kung nabalik ko ang mga ito sa kwarto. I was too busy to even care.

I woke up and it's already 9 in the morning. Late na ako sa trabaho kaya hindi na rin ako nag-effort magmadali. I arrived at our company at exactly 10:30am. Kaya dumiretso na ako sa office ni Kuya Ali dahil kanina niya pa raw ako hinahanap.

"What's up?" Simple kong sabi na para bang hindi ako nagpakalunod sa trabaho netong mga nakaraang araw.

He held up his hand and motioned me to take a seat as he is still talking to someone on the phone. I leaned on his couch and closed my eyes. Tapos na lahat ng trabahong naiwan ko last time. I hope they will give me a breather.

"Luna, are you sleeping?" Napaayos ako ng upo nang marinig ko ang boses ni Kuya.

"Nope. Ano bang meron? Why were you looking for me?" I asked. He stood up and took the single chair in front of me.

"Mom wants to send you to Cebu." Walang-alinlangan niyang sabi. My brows furrowed at his statement.

"Did I not make it clear that I don't want that project?" Nakapag-usap na kami noong isang gabi at sigurado akong sinabi ko sakanya na hindi muna ako tatanggap ng malalaking project.

"The client particularly asked for you. Hindi matanggihan ni Mom." I scoffed.

"Or maybe Mrs. Grimaldi just wants me gone?" He sighed.

"Luna naman, people commit mistakes. It's time to fix your issues with our mother." Issues? Napailing ako.

"YOUR mother! Wala akong nanay, Kuya." I saw pain in my brother's eyes when I said that. I wanted to take back what I sais because I instantly regret it.

"Accept the project. Think of it as a job, not because of Mom." I rolled my eyes.

"Why not because of her? If I know, kaya hindi niya matanggihan iyon dahil ex ko ang apo ng kliyente?" His eyes went wide from what I said. Humigop lang ako sa tea na nakahanda para sa akin at tumayo na.

I saw him brushed his hair because of frustration. Pipihitin ko na sana ang doorknob nang marinig ko ang sinabi niya.

"Aiden's already there with Architect Cornago. Maybe that will change your mind." I smirked.

"When's my flight?"
