"I am going to conduct an open gallbladder removal surgery."

Our professor decided na mag scrub-in kami sa operation niya ngayon. Dr. Tengco will demonstrate the removal of gallbladder.

We were just simply observing the operation. To be honest, I looked like I was very interested with the operation pero lumilipad ang utak ko kakaisip pa rin sa nangyari kahapon.

"Ms. De Vera, why do you think laparoscopic surgery is preferred than open surgery?" Dr. Tengco asked.

"P-po?" Naalala ko na nag-advance reading ako para dito pero hindi ko na binasa dahil walang pumapasok sa utak ko.

"Laparoscopic surgery is advisable because it's less invasive and usually has a shorter recovery time, Doc." Nicole answered.

"Okay good." Dr. Tengco replied.

Napayuko na lang ako sa sobrang hiya. Nang dahil sa nangyari kahapon, hindi na ako makakilos ni makaisip ng maayos. It's affecting me big time.

Since laparoscopic surgery siya, the procedure took only 2 hours, unlike open surgery that could take longer.

Nang matapos na ang surgery, tahimik na kaming lumabas dahil kaunting break time ang binigay sa'min at magkakaroon naman kami ng ultrasound tour for OB precep class.

"Ms. De Vera, can we talk?" Dr. Tengco asked.

"D-doc." I was so nervous.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, Doc. Hindi na po mauulit ito." I assured him.

"Dapat lang. Don't mix your personal problems in this field. Hindi makakatulong iyan dito. Goodluck." He patted my shoulders and left.

Unti-unti akong natakot dahil baka 'pag hindi naging okay ang mga mangyayari mas makaapekto pa ito sa pag-aaral ko.

"Hey are you okay?" Jeremy asked.

"Kanina ka pa tulala, nag-aalala kami sa'yo." Kate said.

"Antok lang 'to guys." I smiled to assure them.

Sa wakas, natapos na din ang tour sa ultrasound section. Napag-usapan namin nina Nisha at Kaleb na sa gazeboo ulit tumambay dahil ilang araw din kami halos hindi nagkasama.

"What's up sa mga may lovelife dyan!" asar ni Kaleb.

"Oo nga, what's up sa mga in-love dyan." I fired back. I saw how uneasy they were sa sinabi ko.

"Sabihin niyo na kasi. Ano kayo na ba?" I asked. Nagkatinginan sila at gumawa ng senyales sa isa't isa.

"Bilis! Pag-buhulin ko kayong dalawa e!" inis kong sabi.

"Bes." Nisha held my hand.

"Yes, Cali. Kami na." Kaleb said. I shouted and jumped out of joy tapos niyakap ko silang dalawa.

"I'm happy for the both of you." I said.

"Thank you." They said in unison.

"Nasan na pala yung bebe mo?" Nisha asked.

"Thesis defense week nila, kaya busy siya."

"Saan nga pala kayo sa Pasko?" Kaleb asked.
