A Pair Of Shoes
A pair of shoes in the mud,
A pair of shoes left alone.
Their owner had forgotten
About the shoes in the mud.The pair of shoes still being worn
A pair of shoes, still warm.
Their owner could not tell
That the shoes were still being worn. The pair of shoes that's been left
A pair of beige or camouflage.
Tied so carefully,
The owner not knowing they wouldn't come home.A pair of shoes on a soldier
A pair of shoes so mighty
The family in mourning
A pair of shoes on a casualty._____________
Twirling Combat
Delicate, Dainty
Perhaps really pink
Twirling, dancing
It's not what you thinkCriss-cross, criss-cross,
Lacing the shoes
Explosion, falling,
Wearing the bluesWham, Red flies,
Maybe a stage
They're dropping, we're losing,
Turn the script's page.Perhaps a dancer
Such beauty, such grace.
Maybe a soldier,
Tears on your face.Death or Beauty
Who draws the line?
Most important is
Which is mine?_________
Sorry for being super sad...
