Chapter 15

Today was Jodies Birthday and I wanted to spoil her. Since I met her in New York, She literally changed my life. She was now my best friend and I still hadn't admitted my feeling but I thought it was about time that I got over myself and told her. It was 4 o'clock in the morning and I started to set up my flat in to a party for Jodie. I was to pick up the cake at six I had already bought her tons of presents the decoration where hidden in the coats cupboard. I created a small wall of presents around a chair, hung banners on the walls, blew up many balloons and sprinkled confetti on the surface tops. It took me me about an hour to sort that out. I then got a text from the cake shop asking me to collect the cake at 5:30am instead of 6am . I quickly got into my running clothes went on a quick 25 minute run and as I headed back I picked up her cake. I got back to my flat to and left the cake in the kitchen. As it was still a while until jodie woke up, I got in the shower dried off did some light but pretty makeup and put on a nice summery dress:

I began to hear movement from Jodies flat so I quickly wrote her card put it on one of the presents and waited beside the door for her to knock.

Jodies Pov

I was just getting dressed after a rather relaxing sleep. It was my birthday and I was so excited because it was the first birthdays me and y/n had spent together and I didnt know what was planned for today. Although each day that would go by I would fall in love with her more and i wanted to tell her i really did but i didnt want to fluff up anything we had because it was amazing so i decided i might. I put my slippers on and locked up and went over to y/ns flat. I knocked and she answered instantly, as soon as she opened the door she threw herself at me.
"Happy birthday" she squealed
"Thank you" I said in a fit of giggles
"Now close yours and dont peek" she  told me
"Ok" I said just going along with it, she took me into her flat and sat me down
"You can open your eyes " she said
I opened my eyes to see that I was surrounded by presents, there were balloons covering the floor, confetti on the sides and banners hanging up I felt speechless.
"Oh my goodness, did you really do all of this for me" I asked
"Of course I wanted to spoil you"
"You really didnt need to" I insisted
"I know but I wanted to" she said and just smiled at me "now prezzie time start with the card to you left" she instructed me but with a baby voice.
So I did it was an average sized envelope with my name on the front
(Time skip to when all the presents were open )
"Your a literally an angel did you know that " I told her
"I'm really not I just care an awful lot about you and I wanted to spoil you" she said which made my heart melt
"Jodie theres something I have been meaning to tell you and I have been holding off for so long " she said with a serious tone but cute smile
"Yere I do to " I said deciding I was gonna admit my feelings
"Lets say it together so we dont feel to much pressure" she suggested
"Perfect idea" I said
She counted down from 3 on her fingers and on 1 we both said at the same time: "I'm in love with you "
And as soon as we finished we looked into eachothers eyes and stayed there for a good 30 seconds. I then dived at her crashing my lips on hers.
"I'm sorry I have wanted to so that for so l.." I tried to say but she went for another kiss this time longer and a lot for meaningful.
"I love you so much Jodie Whittaker" she said staring into my eyes
"I love you too y/n l/n" I replied passionately. I gave her a peck on the lips
"I cant believe this happening " she said full of amazement
I lent down to her ear and whispered "start believing "

Hiya hope you guys like it I have been aiming for this chapter since April so to finally write it feels amazing
