Yesterday you all began brainstorming for the plan, and you were confident in it. However, you couldn't stop thinking about that flashback, and your dad,

"Hey, (Y/n), how you doing?"

Lev questioned, walking alongside you as he paced down the line. Grabbing the food from the countertop and placing it onto his and your trays. They were serving breakfast in the commissary right now.

You sighed and averted your gaze. The tall male curled a brow as he leaned in. Attempting to decipher your expression,

"My dad...he made me forget almost everything about him, and all my precious memories with him. Just to protect me from the government's clutches."

You muttered, as you followed him to a table and he frowned,

"So, is this your first time remembering all of this since then?"

A pained expression crossed your visage and you croaked,

"Yeah."

A brief moment of silence passed, and the loud bustling chatter within the cafeteria filled your ears,

"That sounds horrible, I'm so sorry."

Lev responded, but you shook your head,

"No need to apologize, Lev, it's not your fault."

You replied as you strained a smile. You both sat down at Kuroo's table and despite the brave face you put on,
Lev could tell that you were hiding something, but he didn't want to pry.

You averted your gaze as the table roared with laughter,

Dad said that I'd have to sacrifice myself...

What exactly does he mean by that?
