The zombies served as a great distraction and infiltration tactic against the Elitists'.

The sound of rapid fire gunshots filled the air constantly, and you leapt over the bleeding body beneath you before pausing in front of a room,

"Is this where they're being held?"

You shouted over the loud commotion, and Osamu nodded his head firmly before kicking the door's lock in. Said object flew off it's hinges and the white door creaked open. Wasting no time, you quickly shuffled into the room after Osamu.

Down the corridor, you could hear the voices of your peers. The growls and snarls of your ravenous zombie army, and the sound of frantic footsteps, and yelling,

"Osamu--"

Before you could even finish your sentence; As if already knowing what you were gonna say. The silver haired teen interjected,

"--Right on it."

He spoke, before jogging to one of the many brainwashed hostages and beginning his routine. Sitting in front of you was an array of, what seemed to be, teenagers. All of them had to be around your age, perhaps even a year older, and they were kept strapped to their seats with strange headphone devices over their ears.

Their eyes were shut, and the room was dark. The only light came from the base's bright streetlights outside, and the room was kept eerily silent. The only thing that could be heard were the sounds of faint breathing.

Osamu went down the line, and removed each person's headphones before whispering a collection of words and ending each phrase with a loud finger snap.

One by one, they each broke out of their hypnotic trance, and you jogged towards the first victim. After having fallen out of his chair, he glanced around the room frantically, and was clearly distressed,

"W-Where am I?!"

He croaked, his voice a bit raspy, and you wrapped a consoling arm around him as you knelt beside his frightened form.

A small smile spread across your lips before you spoke,

"Everything's going to be okay. You're safe now."

You hummed, and he gulped nervously. He couldn't quite pinpoint why, but he felt at ease after your reassurance.

You helped him to his feet, and glanced around the room. The brainwashed victims had all snapped out of their previous trance, and staggered around the room in a disoriented manner,

"Alright, let's get these guys out of here, but first I'll have to check how things are going with the offense squadron."

You pointed out, before placing a finger to your earpiece and you cleared your throat,

"Kuroo, how are things looking out there?!"

You questioned, listening intently, and the male on the other line replied not too long after,

"Things are going according to plan. Using the zombies as an attack strategy really did come in handy. The Elitist's soldiers have been wiped out considerably."

Kuroo informed as he pulled out his knife's blade from the soldier's chest. Causing his body to fall limp against the tiled floor, and the dark haired male glanced up at the ceiling. Somewhat lost in thought,

"Even the Elitist's will find it difficult to recover from this kind of damage."

Kuroo finished, and you grinned contentedly,

"Mark, we've gathered all the brainwashed victims, and Osamu just finished fixing them. Should we begin our retreat?"

You questioned, and Mark buzzed in your ear,
