Iwaizumi rolled up his sleeves before setting his elbow on top of the table. You mirrored his actions and he smirked whilst chuckling,

"I won't go easy on you because you're a girl."

He chirped, as you both grasped each others palms tightly. The crowd surrounding the table grew excited as Hinata commenced the countdown,

"--And go!"

You and Iwaizumi began the arm wrestle, and immediately you were taken aback by how much strength Iwaizumi truly possessed. It was insane, the amount of sheer power this man wielded. Especially considering the fact that he was only eighteen years old,

"What the hell--"

You grumbled, causing Iwaizumi to cackle, and despite the fact that it was technically considered cheating; You used your other hand to gain more leverage, and Hinata instantly began cheering you on,

"You got this (Y/n)!!"

Bokuto and Hinata yelled, and Kageyama cackled,

"You guys do realize she's cheating right?"

Tsukishima pointed out, but the crowd simply ignored him as they cheered louder,

"Hell yeah, you got this (Y/n)!!"

Lev patted your back roughly, and you winced from the slight pain. Iwaizumi smiled, watching as you used all your strength in an attempt to bring his arm down. Truthfully, Iwaizumi could've easily beaten you. Compared to him, you were quite weak, but, this time, he thought it best to just let you win, and allowed his arm to fall limp against the tabletop.

Your peers erupted in loud cheers, and you jumped up happily. Iwaizumi chuckled deeply, as he used his palm as a headrest. His green hues studying your excited demeanor contentedly. He didn't know why, but, watching you prance around joyfully, made his heart flutter in a strange way.

He couldn't pinpoint the exact emotion he felt, but he knew that it was pleasant.

To his surprise, you walked over and knelt down before whispering in his ear,

"Thanks for letting me win."

You grinned, and Iwaizumi chuckled as you bid him farewell and followed after your peers.

Everyone, especially you, were indulging in these last few days of freedom before the battle once arriving at the coastal city. Albeit it was fun having these days off, it was still nerve-wracking having to count down the days until then,
