Chapter 3

Alli's POV

We pulled into Sid's place and I looked at Phil, "Oh boy." I said. We walked to the door and knocked on it Sid answered it, "Alli, Doug." He said confused. "Hey Sid." Doug said. "You still mad at me about the Mercedes?" I asked. "Vegas." He said. We chuckled and he saw Phil and Stu as well, "Stu you have something to tell Sid." Phil said. "We are here to bring Alan to Thailand with us." Stu said sounding like it was forced. He smiled and let us in.

"I can't tell you how much this means Alan's been waiting for the invite ever since he got wind of the wedding." Sid said as we walked to Alan's room. "I'm sure he has." Stu said. "Yeah he's been standing outside by the mailbox every day." Sid said. "Wow." I said. "That's rough." Phil said. "Yeah I uh I'm not quite sure he ever left Vegas you know?" Sid said. We looked at him, "He really needs this." He said. Doug nodded then Sid knocked on the door, "What?" Alan asked. "Sweetie it's Papa you have visitors." Sid said. I held in a laugh at the first part when Doug punched my arm, "Sorry." I said. Sid turned to us, "Go in slowly give him a chance to acclimate." Sid said.

The door opened and Alan was shown, "Hey Alan." Doug said in a good mood. Alan looked shocked, "Hey guys." Alan said. "Hey Wennecks." He said to Phil and I. "Hey bud." Phil and I said. He took breath, "Uh, uh you guys want to come in?" Alan asked. "Sure." Doug said. "Yeah." I said. "Absolutely." Phil said.

We walked in and looked around his room, "Pretty cool room Alan." Phil said as he walked in. "Oh, thanks Phil my dad pays my rent." Alan said. I looked around, "Alan what the fuck?" Doug asked. "Dougie chill." I said. "No, we were supposed to delete these you made a promise." Doug said. "Whoa, whoa, whoa what the hell?" Stu asked. Phil and I looked seeing our Vegas pictures up, "I'm not cool with this at all you can't have these." Stu said. Phil and I laughed, "Chillax, Stu nobody ever comes in here." Alan said. "Total violation of trust." Stu said.

I looked at the pictures some more one catching my eye on the shelf, "I can't believe you stopped by this is cool." Alan said. "What is it?" Phil asked. "Al, I have a question." I said. "What is it Al?" He asked. We looked at him, "You guys get it because her name's Alli and mine is Alan." Alan said. "Yeah we get it." Stu said. "Is that Mr. Chow?" I asked him. "Yeah. We still keep in touch." Alan said. I showed Stu, "Stu." I said showing him then Phil. "Chow the guy that kidnapped us?" Stu asked. "He didn't kidnap us. He kidnapped Black Doug remember?" Alan asked. Stu just looked at Alan as Doug looked down, "It was a whole big misunderstanding he's quite charming." Alan said. "Alan he's a criminal." Stu sad. "Excuse me everyone." Linda said. "Hi Linda." Doug and I said. "Hi Dougie. Hi Alli." Linda said then walked out.

"You know I don't think this was a good idea." Stu said. I looked at Stu, "Uh, Alan we have a little surprise for you." Doug said. Stu looked at Doug, "What is it?" Alan asked. "Stu would like to invite you to his wedding." I said pointing at him. "Well only if you're not busy." Stu said. "Stu." Phil said. "Well maybe the Jonas Brothers are in town." Stu said. "No, they're in Raleigh-Durham this weekend." Alan said. Stu hummed as Doug gave Alan a weird look which is priceless. Alan looked at Stu, "Are you really being serious Stu? You're inviting me?" Alan asked. Stu just looked at him. "Yeah why not could be fun right." Stu said.

"Alli, Phil you two going?" Alan asked. "Of course." Phil and I both said. "Then it will be fun." Alan said. Phil and I smiled at him when he stabbed himself with a needle, "Ah." Stu said. "Whoa." Doug and I said. "Alan what the fuck are you doing?" Phil asked. "It's my immunizations this is the last day I can do it." Alan said. "That's supposed to be done by a registered nurse." Stu said. "I am a nurse." Alan said holding the needle up. I looked at Alan kind of scared, "I'm just not registered." Alan said. I hid under Phil's arms, "You're okay." Phil said and kissed my head. "Stu check this out I bought this because I thought of you." Alan said showing a toy that has one tooth missing.

We got Alan's many bags together then picked up Croix and went to the airport. We walked to meet up with Lauren's brother, "Hey there he is." Stu said. "Hey Stu." Lauren's brother said. "Teddy what's up, how are you?" Stu asked Teddy. "Good to see you man." Teddy said. "Alright." Stu sad. "Who's this guy Stu?" Alan asked. "This is Teddy Lauren's little brother." Stu said.

We looked at Teddy, "He looks smart." Croix mumbled to Phil and I. "Goes to Stanford premed. This is Doug, Alan, Phil and Alli." Stu said. "Hey nice to meet you man." Doug said. "Wow Stanford." Phil and I said. Teddy nodded, "How old are you?" Croix asked. "I'm..." Teddy was saying. "He's seventeen kind of a genius." Stu said. "Actually, I'm sixteen and I'm not a genius my dad just had me take the entrance exams early." Teddy said. "Because you're a genius." Stu said. "Holy shit." Croix said. "What?" Teddy asked. "You're only a few years older than me." Croix said. "What's your name?" Teddy asked. "Croix Alli is my mom and Phil's my adoptive dad." Croix said. "Cool." Teddy said and gave him a high five. Croix was about to say something when Alan cut in.

"So what are you a doctor?" Alan asked. "No not yet I'm premed." Teddy said. "You made a new friend." Phil said in a playful voice. "Ever heard of that guy Doogie Howser?" Alan asked. "Yeah." Teddy said. "Well he turned out to be gay." Alan said. "Alan." Doug said. "It's true I read it in Teen People." Alan said. "Right okay well I'm going to grab a book or something for the plane. You guys want anything?" Teddy asked. "I am going to get some snacks for me I'll go with you." Croix said. "Cool." Teddy said. "I would actually love a Smartwater." Stu said. "Got it." Teddy said. "So, can you help me with my math homework?" Croix asked as they walked away.

"Alan what's the matter with you? He's sixteen." I said. "Yeah Alan take it easy." Phil said. "I'm a little confused is he here just to see us off or what? How does this work?" Alan asked. "How does what work?" Doug asked. "Is that person coming to the wedding?" Alan asked. We looked at him confused, "Yes Alan my bride's little brother is coming to the wedding. Is that okay with you?" Stu asked. "Well it's just the first time I've heard of it you could have paged me." Alan said. We just stood there and I grabbed Zeppelin's seat again as Phil held my hand, "It's going to be fine Stu." I said patting his back.

We got to the gate and sat down me next to Phil and Doug, "Hey mind if I sit?" Teddy asked. "Wolf pack only find another chair." Alan said. I looked at him, "There's no wolf pack Alan come on." Stu said. "It's no problem I can find..." Teddy was saying. "Come sit across my mom and dad." Croix said as he walked over. I looked over some police reports for a case I am on while Phil was grading papers, "So Alli, Phil what do you guys do?" Teddy asked in an awkward tone. I looked up at him then at Alan, "I am a teacher." Phil said. "What do you teach?" Teddy asked. "Middle school science." He said.

"I am a K-9 officer." I said to Teddy. "Cool how many years did that take?" He asked. "Not many." I said. "That's because she was a Marine." Croix said. "Really?" Teddy asked. I nodded, "Yeah K-9 over there as well." I said. "Thanks for serving then." He said holding his hand out for me to shake which I gladly did.

"That's a nice neck roll." Alan said. "Thanks. You can use it if you want." Teddy said to Alan holding it to him. Alan took it, "Okay." He said then threw it. We looked over at him, "Don't mind him." Croix said to Teddy. I smiled at Croix, "Who's this?" Teddy asked Croix pointing at Zeppelin. "This is Zeppelin, but you can call him Zep." Croix said. "Like Led Zeppelin?" Teddy asked. "Yeah it's our favorite band from growing up." Phil said. "That's awesome wish I had a cool name like that." Teddy said.

I looked seeing Zeppelin awake playing with one of his toys, "Zep." Croix said. Zeppelin looked at his brother, "Who's that?" He asked pointing at me. "Mama." Zep said. "Who's that?" Croix asked. "Dada." Zeppelin said. "He know your name?" Teddy asked. "No, he only knows tho two." Croix said. I got up quick, "I should change him before we board." I said to Phil. "Okay." He said. I put the file in my bag then grabbed Zeppelin's diaper bag, "Come on little dude." I said carrying Zeppelin to the bathroom.

I changed him quickly then walked back to the gate which it was boarding, "We can broad since we have Zep." Phil said. I nodded then we got through, "Sir do you have a small child with you?" The lady asked. We turned around and saw Alan, "No but why do they get to go first?" Alan asked. "I am with them I am their son." Croix said showing his boarding pass. "Alan we'll see you on buddy don't worry." Phil said. We got to our seats, "Hopefully he'll sleep alright." I said as I sat down. Phil nodded then sat down next to me as I saw Croix looking for someone.

"Are you waiting for your boyfriend?" I asked. Croix looked at me, "I am just making sure Alan didn't do anything stupid and scare him off." Croix said. We chuckled and once everyone was on, we took off to Thailand.
