Today, on Wednesday 18th July, I finally finished college. After 5 years of hard work which now allow me to be a translator, I am free and ready to get a job. My name is June Wellington, and I am 25. I live in a little flat in Brooklyn, not very far from my parents' house. Now my studies are over and that I am finally graduated, I am going to travel thanks to the money I saved during those 5 years. I've always wanted to travel the world, that's one of my dreams. God knows that I have plenty of dreams, but this one is very dear to my heart. Indeed, as a translator, I'll have to travel all around the world. I wanna see France, Great Britain, Spain... I wanna go everywhere, and no one will hold me back because I am still single. I have friends, of course, and I really love them, they're like my second family, and I would have to leave my family, but it's ok. They all want what's good for me, and travelling is one of the most important thing a translator got to do. Speaking about my parents, I went to my childhood house to see them just after my graduation. Unfortunately, they were not able to come at the ceremony because of my father's health. A year ago, he has been diagnosed to have a throat cancer. Fortunately, doctors discovered his cancer soon enough to heal it. However, it is hard to deal with it for my dad. He has chemo once a week, and it's really heavy to bear for him. He will turn 53 this year. Everyday I am a little bit more frightened to lose him, even if doctors say he's gonna be fine. One of them once told me that my dad would be there to carry his great children or to dance with me at my wedding. That comforts me for sure, but losing one of my parent would be the worst thing that could ever happen to me. I'm really close to my family. I love them, they're very loving and caring. As much caring and loving that, when I came back from my graduation they made a giant cake and invited my entire family. I was very moved to see that. This is the best thing I could wish for. Being surrounded by the people I love, by the important people in my life. I got a hug and congratulations from every single person in the house, it was very touching to see that my family was proud of me.

I made it.
