the wholesome interaction had taken her mind off of both the task at hand, packing, and the hangover she was still recovering from.
last night joe had suggested that they all go out before leaving new york the next evening. joanna had agreed, only to be a third wheel once again when they were in the club, having to fend off men looking for a hookup while joe and izzy danced together.
she was no stranger to a one night stand, and while none of the men were particularly unappealing, she found herself completely uninterested with all of them. unknowingly, joanna seemed to be comparing their mannerisms to those of the perfect gentleman she had known in france. and of course none of them came close.
