Jessica's POV

when I woke up I went for a quick shower, then I changed into this -

I braided my hair into two really messy Dutch braids

it was a sunday so like didn't need to be presentable or anything - its a comfy day. though I still had homework to do, so when im done I might get a chance to relax. so I grabbed my bag and unzipped it , I took out my homework folder and put it down on my desk. I grabbed a pencil and started the work. about 15 minutes in, I heard the doorbell go off. I sighed and looked at my phone. no texts, or calls? who the hell is here? so anyway I sighed and walked to the front door. I opened it and saw Zach standing in the doorway looking around

"what are you doing here?" I asked. he turned around and looked at me - well shit, forgot I looed like shit "I know im pretty, but can you not stare at me?" I said, mocking him from Friday. he looked back up at me and smiled
"I was in this side of town and I thought I'd come see you" he said, I opened the door wider to let him in.
"Zach, you werent on this side - dont lie" I said. he smiled and I closed the door
"I know. I just wanted to see you" he said
"I saw you literally 2 days ago"
"ey, you should be happy that I want to see you!"
"you wanted to see my lovely face" I shot a smile
"your lovely face yes, yes. I would like to see your lovely face" he chuckled
"hmph, whats in the bag" I asked and kicked the plastic bag in his hand. he shrugged and set the bag down on the island "tell meee" I groaned
"movies"
"you brought movies?" I asked smiling, he nodded and I grabbed the bag and looked at all the movies.
"I thought it would be nice to have a little movie day" he said
"ugh but I dont want to spend the day with you" I joked
"love you too, babe" he said and went to sit down on the sofa, I followed him and sat next to him, babe..... love you too..... PLEASE HES KILLING ME
"oh my god Zach, these movies are so crap" I said
he shrugged "I dont have many good ones - most of them are like barbie movies and shit like that"
"Reece?"
he nodded
"well - since these are all like old people stuff " I chuckled "we should have a Harry Potter Marathon!"
he groaned "I've seen harry potter millions of times"
"okay? well now you are going to see them one more time"
"Jess" he whined
"or we can watch to all the boys I've loved before" I said, expecting him to say no
"honesty, i'd rather watch that than Harry potter again. Jonah literally made us watch them all the other day" he said.
"Jonah likes harry potter?"
"hes obsessed" he chuckled - well the more you know
"so, we watching To All The Boys I've Loved Before?" I said and pulled up my Netflix "Zach?"
"what?" he asked
"we are watching this yeah?" I pointed at the TV and he nodded. as it started Zach handed me a blanket and I unfolded it then draped it over my legs
"excuse me. you dont get to hog the blanket" he said
"get your own!" I said
"I thought we were sharing it" he fake frowned, then I giggled
"you thought wrong" I said, he huffed as he went to stand up, I placed my hands on his shoulders and pushed him back down. "I was joking zachy" I said. he scooted closer to me and wrapped an arm around me, then I put my legs over his legs so we could properly share the blanket.
"ey, dont you cry in these kinds of movies?" he asked
"not really, only if its like real sad" I said
"isn't parts of this considered real sad?"
I shrugged "I only cried the first time"
"right" he chuckled
"I did" I said
"okay babe"
"Zach, you and I watched this together, that was my first time"
"oh yeah" he chuckled "you full on sobbed"
"I did not!" I said and hit his stomach, he didn't flinch and say ouch so - it probably didn't hurt, and I literally have no upper body strength.
about halfway into the movie Zach put his hand under the blanket and grabbed mine - intertwining them.
"jess" he said, getting my attention "do you, wanna date me?" he asked, I giggled and he smiled
"no" I joked
he frowned "why not?" he asked looking down at my lips. I rolled my eyes and put my head down on his shoulder.
"because you didn't ask me properly" I said
"what do you want me to do? like go down on one knee or something? cause I will if that's what you really want"
"no" I giggled "just say the proper words"
"will you go for dinner with me tomorrow night?" he asked "as a first date"
"this right here. is our first date" I said
"ohh really?" he asked
I smiled "yep" I squeezed his hand tighter
"you never answered my question" he said
"oh right.." I said "ask me again!" I smiled cheekily at him
he shook his head "jess, will you date me?"
"I'd love too!" I said with a proper smile. he started to lean down to kiss me but I stopped him
"what?" he said
"I dont kiss on the first date herron" I joked. he laughed and turned to the side so he could wrap both arms around me.
"so, we are dating" he said
I nodded "have you ever really been on a date before?" I asked
"that one time - with you" he said
"so I was your first date? awe" I said and moved my hands to pinch his cheeks
"hey! I was yours too" he said and pinched my cheeks "so this is fairly new to us"
"I guess" I said "hopefully Alexis and who ever she is with now wont be where we go" I said. he nodded in agreement. "you didn't go on dates with Alexis?"
"I wouldn't exactly call it a date" he said
"so this is both our second dates"
he nodded "and I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else in the world" he smiled
"awe sweet" I joked, he rolled his eyes playfully and kissed my cheek.
