Jessica's POV

I heard a car horn go off outside as I was rushing to get my jeans on

then I grabbed my shoes and stuff, and I rushed to my cooper and Elijah's room and knocked on the door then walked in
"hey, you boys ready?" I asked
"yeah" cooper said
"is nana waiting?" cooper asked
"no El, Zach is bringing us to the hospital. nana is already there" I smiled. they grabbed some stuff and followed me, all three of us ran outside. I saw Zach's car outside I looked in and he was sat there on his phone, I tried opening the passenger door but it was locked, I knocked on the window and Zach looked up, he smirked when he realised the doors were locked.
"open the door" I groaned. he pressed the button on the side and we all got in.
"sorry My love" he said as all the doors shut
"my love? ugh gross" cooper said from the back seat
"It stinks back here" Elijah groaned
I laughed "yes that's whats gross. Zachs freaking car - its like filthiest moving thing ever" I said, Zach sent me a huge glare.
"hmph, you like my filthy car" he smirked, I rolled my eyes.
I heard cooper chuckle "again, gross, but that was a good one"
"zachy, can we stop at dunkin?" I asked
I guess" he shrugged
"its on the way - so you wont need to like divert"
"ugh fine" he said. I smiled as he drove off. it seemed quick, because we had just pulled into dunkin. I got out and zach rolled down his window, handing me some money
"what do y'all want?" I asked
"nothing" he shrugged "cooper, el, want anything?" he turned to ask them
"no thanks" cooper said
"chocolate!" Elijah shouted, I giggled knowing he meant a chocolate dunkaccino, its a frozen drink - I gave him a sip of one once and he loved it. I nodded and turned around, I walked towards the door and someone almost smacked me in the face with it, luckily I avoided it.

"sorry, didn't see you there" a familiar voice said. I looked up and saw the guy from the party. ugh what was his name?
"oh no, its okay" I smiled
"oh my god, jess?" he asked, ah yes its him "do you remember me? im Ethan - from the party"
"oh right!"
"fells like forever huh?" he said
"well saying the party was at the beginning of the year, yah"
"well, how have you been?" he asked
"okay - I guess. you?" he said
"god, still single, but good" he chuckled "so how about you, are you single?" he asked
"no, shes taken" a voice from behind me said, then I felt an arm wrap around my waist - I didn't even need to check who it was
"Zach herron... nice to see you man" Ethan said, I slowly looked up at zach
"yeah" Zach said, I knew he hated ethan ever since the party
"so you two are like actually together now? - like after he destroyed your heart" ethan asked
"I didn't destroy her heart, and why do you even care?" zach asked, making ethan look down at me, then at zach
"we are friend zach. okay" I said and looked up at him "anyway - we are in a rush, we are on our way to the hospital to see a family member" I lightly smiled
"oh - im sorry about your family member " he said
"thanks - it was nice seeing you"
"you too. hopefully we'll see each other again" he said then looked at zach "zach" he nodded and walked away
I slapped his hand off my waist "Zachery! you scared him off" I said
he looked taken back by the fact I called him that "ouch!" he said "its not my fault, hes a... sacred bugger" he shrugged
"but you didn't have to be rude!"
"I wasn't jess. he obviously likes you. I didn't want him to steal you"
I sighed "we will finish this in the car, dont leave my brothers in your smelly car alone" I said. he nodded with a sigh as he walked back to his car. I walked in and ordered a 'chocolate dunkaccino' and a 'strawberry coolatta'.
I thanked the server as she handed me my drinks and straws then headed back to the car, I got in and handed Elijah is drink

"thanks" he smiled. I nodded and sat back.
as we walked out of the hospital elevator I saw nurse speed past us
"dang, she could of said excuse me" I said, zach chuckled as he grabbed my hand, then took a sip of my drink
"seriously - if that ethan kid come nears you again all fucking kill him" he threatened
"hey" I said and squeezed his hand, cooper laughed "what's your beef with him anyway?" I asked
"he always talks to you"
"god, its not my fault im pretty" I joked and flipped my hair over my shoulder
"actually. your beautiful - but I know it isn't your fault" he said. we walked around to the right corridor and wrapped my arm around Elijah. this felt perfect, being cuddled into Zach's side, and my arm wrapped around El - cooper walking by zachs other side.

"we are going to get married, you and me" zach said out of no where
I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder "well that's one thing you have ever got right" I chuckled
"I know!" zach said
"so when?" I asked
he took a breath "how about tomorrow?" he said and tightened his grip
"that sounds perfect"
"ugh you two are weird as hell" cooper said
"I think they are cute!" Elijah fought back.
I shook my head "I agree with coop" me and zach said at the same time, we both looked at each other with huge smiles on our faces. we kept walking for what felt like forever, but then another Nurse ran past us and into the room ahead... my smile got completely wiped off my face when I realised what room it was.
"holy shit..." I said, grandad. I sprinted
"jess! wait!" I heard zach shout, I stopped before I walked in
"watch them" I said and pointed at the boys, he grabbed both of them before I turned around and walked into my grandads room - there was about 4 doctors surrounding his bed and my nana was stood in the corner

"nana!" I said
"oh jess" she frowned and opened her arms for me to hug her, I ran into them and placed my head on her shoulder
"whats going on?" I asked
"your grandad stopped breathing - but he'll be fine" she said comforting me. then little foot steps ran into the room
"shit" cooper said throwing his arms around Elijah and pushing him towards us
"Cooper?" grandad said
"grandad!" he said happily - well I guess he's breathing again
