"What is she doing here?" Yamamoto had quickly turned his back on me.

"We don't need her here to fan the flames." Yaku glared at me.

Kuroo sat farther from the door with his head down and a plate of untouched food in front of him. He seemed to be shaking slightly.

"This isn't what it seems like." I began but Tendou stood in front of me looking almost angry, but I knew he couldn't possibly be. It didn't fit his character.

"Wow, so this is Nekoma huh? My school has constantly offered her more money and opportunities and she has always turned us down. She even used us as an advantage for you guys! But, as soon as some lies come up, they abandon her." He laughed a sinister laugh and I wondered how he knew I used Ushijima for information, "Boy, if I knew it would've been easier to get the team to abandon the coach I would have never targeted the coach to abandon her team." His words visibly struck a nerve with a few of them.

Lev now stood in front of me beside Tendou, "You guys didn't even bother to ask questions. I learned the whole story! Y/n is completely innocent!" He seemed to win over a few of them.

"Then who called to get Y/n the job in the first place?" Kenma asked with his game put down now.

"My old friend, Aimoto. She is a lunatic." Her name made Kuroo's head pop up.

He met my eyes and my heart broke again. His eyes were puffy and his face was soaked in his tears. I pushed past the two boys in front of me and held my eye contact with Kuroo, "I will not leave you, any of you. I will be loyal to this team until I am no longer here. I wished you guys had seen that sooner." I had begun to cry against my will. Lev put his hand on my shoulder as a comfort.

"Guys-"

"We are so sorry!" Fukunaga cut Lev off with a hard bow followed by Yaku, Yamamoto, and Inuoka. The rest of the team except Kuroo followed them. Kuroo stood up but he did not bow.

"Y/n, I am so sorry." He whispered and even then I could hear his voice quivering.

I quickly rushed to him and he opened his arms to me. The impact of our bodies hitting each other made us both groan, but he kissed me nonetheless. I could taste his tears on his lips and brushed the hair stuck to his face out of the way.

I broke the kiss and wiped his tears. He leaned his head into my touch, but pulled my hand away to look at the bandages.
Tendou laughed in the background, "You've got a true psychopath there," He pointed to me, "She was about to kill a girl in the school just now. Not to mention the wall will probably need emergency service."

It was meant to be a joke but Kuroo didn't-or couldn't- laugh.

"G-guys, I am going to walk with Y/n home. We can talk more about this tomorrow." The team agreed and we all split ways.

Tendou reached out to me earning a growl from Kuroo.

"Slow down tiger, I just wanted to give her my tape so she can change her bloody bandages." His eyes moved at the red soaking through the tape with obvious excitement.

Kuroo waited until we had gotten completely alone to lead me to a bench illuminated only by the street light. He gently unwrapped my hands looking up at me worried when he touched the exposed wounds and I winced.
