Scott POV

While we are in or last class, I couldn't focus. I kept thinking about my mate being like a hybrid. She a werecheetah and a witch--- wait, the other scent that I was smelling from her must be the witch scent. I'm falling in with her. My heart is telling me to be with her, but my mind is telling me that I already have a girlfriend. I love Malia, and I don't want to hurt her. I going to have to reject my mate, but what would happen if I do (bad things, very very bad things. I suggest you don't do that). When I thought that, someone said,

"No!, don't even think about doing that!"

"What, whose said" I whispered looking around to find the person, but everybody was looking at the front and taking notes. I felt a squeeze on my hand and I turned to look at Layla. She had a worried look on her face and said, "are you okay?" to which I nodded and smile to assure her. She smiles and turned back to taking notes. Who was that (I wonder that too, but you will find out soon)

Ringgggggggg!. The bell ring signaling end of class. I put my things back in my bag. I turned to see if Layla is ready to leave the classroom, and said, "you're ready to go". She looks at me and nods. We got up and made our way out of the classroom. "Can we stop at my locker? I need to get my backpack" I heard Layla ask. I nodded and said, "Yea, we can. Lead the way."

She led us to the rows of lockers on the first floor next to the staircase, her locker was next to Stiles. She opened her locker and hand me her bag. I held her bag open, while she puts her stuff in it. After that, she closed her locker and zipped her bag up. I gave her bag back, and she swung it on her shoulder. Then, we made our way out of the school, towards Stiles, Malia, and Lydia who were waiting for us.

"Okay guys, the pack meeting is going to be at my house," I said

"Okay, we will see you there," all three of them said at the same time. I turned to look at Layla, and said, "you can follow right behind us." She was about to nod, but her phone started ringing. She answered it.

"Hey, mom, what's up," She told in the phone for a few minutes before hanging up.

"Sorry, I have to pick up my little brother from school. Can you just text me your address, and I will there" She said to me handing me her phone to exchange numbers. I put my number and calling myself so I will have her number too. "Okay, I will"

"Thanks, bye" She replied as she let go of my hand, which I immediately closed my eyes. I heard her making her way somewhere, probably her car. I waited until I can't smell her anymore. Then, I open my eyes.

"Can I ride with you Scott?" Malia asked. I nodded, and we waved goodbye to Stiles and Lydia, making our way to my motorbike. We made our way out of the parking lot to my house.

Layla's POV

I picked up my brother from school, and we are driving to Scott's house for the pack meeting that I got invited to attend even though I'm not part of the pack. I'm taking my brother with me since our mom is not back from her work at the hospital. I can't leave him home alone, so I decided to bring him with me to the meeting. I hope it will be okay for him to be there too.

"So, how was the first day of your new school? Did you make some friends?" I asked Logie once we got out of his school parking lot.

"It was awesome. All the students in my class were very nice and welcoming. I made two new friends, Felix and Faith. They are twins. They invited me to hang out at their house tomorrow. I told them I have to ask my parents first. I hope mom and dad say I can. If they say no, you will convince them right. Please" Logie replied in one breathe. I guess he had a great day at school unless like me. I just happy he is not getting bully at this school.

"Really, I'm glad you had a great time and made new friends. Of course, I will convince them, but you know they will say yes"

"Yea, you right. By the way, where are we going? This doesn't look like the way to our house"

"Oh, right. We are not going home. We are going to a friend's house"

"Why?"

"There is a pack meeting that I was invited to attend"

"Oh, okay"

I'm glad he didn't ask any more questions. I don't want him to be a part of any supernatural events yet. We got to my mate's house. I parked next to it, and we got out of the car. I rang the bell and waited for someone to open the door. My mate opened the door and let us in.

"It's okay if I brought my brother. I couldn't leave at home by himself. We won't disturb us. He will be in the kitchen with headphones, watching something on my phone." I said to my mate as my brother and I walked inside.

"Yeah, that's fine" my mate replied as he closed the door.

"Hi, guys. This is my brother Logan" I introduced my brother, who was hiding behind me since he is shy around new people.

"Hi, Logan. I'm Scott, This is Stiles, Lydia, Malia, Liam, and Mason." my mate introduced everybody as they wave to my brother. He waved back and said hi in a low voice.

"Sorry, guys. He's shy around new people" I said to them.

"It's okay" my mate replied. I took my brother to the kitchen which was across the living room. I had him sit at the table, and I took my headphones, plugging it in my phones. I put the headphones on him, and said, "Stay here, and watch whatever you want on my youtube. If you need me just call me okay." He nodded and started to play on my phones. I went back to the living room for the meeting.

"Before we start, let me introduce Layla. Stiles, Lydia, and Malia already know who she is, but Liam and Mason may not know Her"

"Hi, Liam and Mason. I'm the new girl at your school, who is a werecheetah"

"Hi, I'm a werewolf and Scott's beta"

"And I'm the second human with the brains in the pack"

"Well, it nice to meet you too"

"I don't mean to be rude, but are you just a cheetah or? Cause I also smell another scent on you" Liam asked me. I smiled at him and answered, "I guess it fine to tell you guys since you are friends with them. I'm also a witch"

"Oh, cool. So you are like a hybrid"

"Yes"

"Are you don't asking questions, Liam?"

"No, I have two more questions. Why are you wear sunglasses? And why are your eyes glowing red? I forget to ask you that last time"

"Those questions will be answered in the meeting"

"Oh okay then"
