Good morning Everyone, how are you? How have you been?
Psalms 37:4 (KJV) reads. "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
So my question to you is...
What are your desires? And how are you getting there to receive them?
Now if you do not wish to share it's totally fine and understandable.
My desires are to be closer to God, I really wanna hear his voice and just feel his presence.
To get to that I'm going to pray more put away distractions (my phone and other things) and just talk to God as if he is in the room with me.
I also would like to give up something for a few days just to see. Like I LOVE music I listen to a lot of R&B and some hip hop and a lot of that can hinder and mess with the soul and mind. So for the next few days I'm gonna TRY and listen to Gospel or Christian podcast.
Speaking of podcast y'all if you haven't not heard please please please check out Godsisters podcast on Spotify that's where I listen to them it may be on other things but I know it's Spotify . They are young black girls in there early or mid 20s who love God and share slot of real life stuff that they have been through and they talk about many topics. They even spoke on something I've asked I think it's the 2 or 🙄3rd podcast I can't remember but please check them out! They be giving me life lol
