CHAPTER 25

SABREEN

Haifa's wedding went by as planned and she was taken to her home. Aunty still hates me and glares at me whenever our eyes meet. But I'm happy she will be leaving tomorrow.

Haifa even told she is always like this, always moody. but only God knows because I don't know the reason she doesn't like me.

I shake off the thought and get up to prepare dinner since Amir will be back in an hour.
Talking of Amir he collected my CV last week saying he will get a job for me but I stopped him saying I don't want to work I just want to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer even though I studied economics,I was into tailoring before my parents died and I can sketch, So right now he's looking for a prefect shop for my fashion house.

After I'm done cooking I went upstairs to take a bath, after I was done I dress into a sea blue maxi skirt with white long sleeve crop top tie a lowbun turban with a sea blue veil on my head, put on powder,khol and a pink lipstick spray some perfume before heading downstairs.
I checked the time and Amir will be back in some minutes so I picked my phone and I saw missed video calling from Haifa, and I decided to call back.

"Hey Haifa, how are you and my in law?? I asked smiling immediately she picked up.
 
"oh my god, you look stunning wallahi.
"We're fine, but not that,why didn't you tell me how you felt??? She asked.

"How I felt what?? I asked confused.

"Yeah.....when you first cooked for yaya Amir, wallahi I was nervous like i can't stop tasting the stew i made I have a feeling like maybe it will be too salty or spicy.... she said and I almost cried because of laughing.

"Wallahi you're very funny, yes I was nervous at first but don't worry you will get used to it so stop tasting the stew like that I said giggling.

"Yeah I know she said pouting ".

"I can't believe you're married for a week now, it was just  like yesterday when they announced an adura auran muhsin hamza da Haifa Abdullahi I said trying to sound like the old woman who said that on Haifa's wedding day.

"Umhumm...time really flys fast I wish I can be single again she said.

"Yeah I am married to your brother for seven and a half months,and I will be 21 in three days I said smiling.

"Ya Allah are you going to celebrate?? She asked looking excited.

"Noo!!! I don't celebrate my birthday's since after my parents passed away I reply.

"Ohhhh... was all she responded with.

I hear the door opening and I knew it was Amir.

"Okay Haifa gotta go, my husband is back i said.

"Okay incase you forget am his sister and I have my own husby she said rolling her eyes playfully.

"Whatever pluse pray that stew of yours is not salty, I don't want my in law to be running off to toilet for his dear life,I said laughing and she just pouted. We said our goodbyes and I ended the call.

"Welcome back I said smiling.

"Thank you. He replied sitting massaging his forehead.

"You should take a bath,I will set the table before you ar...Amir made me sit on his laps and peak me on my cheek cutting me off.

"You look beautiful he said making me blush.

"Thank you I replied biting my lips.

"Are you shy babe??
