CHAPTER 32

SABREEN

It's been four and a half months since I left Abuja,and since I last saw Amir.
Haifa told me he came looking for me the day I left.
I miss him I mumbled putting my hand on my small baby bump. It now four months old getting to five months in a week.

Amir still doesn't know about my pregnancy, i am sad and at the same time happy, I don't want him to take me back or accept me because of the baby.

"Sabreennnnnn!!!! Someone shouted my name coming inside my room making me get on my feet and aiming for the bathroom door...but then i hear Haifa laughing...

"Oh my goodness Haifa, you almost gave me a heart attack I spat at her.

"How is my niece doing?? She asked ignoring what I just said.

"Who told you it's a girl?? And when did you arrive??

"I don't know I have a feeling it's a girl and I arrived just now; she said.

"I smiled shaking my head ,how is mama and everyone?? I asked.

"Mama,and muhsin are fine but I don't know for the other person you're asking of, haven't seen him in a while,she said rolling her eyes.

"How are you feeling?? She asked changing the topic.

"Good, but my cravings for things is getting worse, can you believe last night I woke up craving for marshmallow, I said pouting.

"That's why you're getting fat all the time, Haifa stated making my eyes go wide like a saucer.

"Really!!! Am I really fat I asked.

"Nah,just kidding she said making me hit her head.

"Ouch what was that for?? She asked annoyed.

"For calling me fat I said rolling my eyes.

"Whatever, get ready we're going for baby shopping when I rest,and I wouldn't take no i am tired of getting no as an answer she said getting up.

"I am so tired and hungry I said sitting lazily on the sofa.

"Me too Haifa said.

"You should go eat then; ummah said entering the sitting room.

Haifa do you think Amir will ever come and apologize I mean it's been four and a half  months i confessed to Haifa who was typing on her phone.

"I don't know sabreen, let's just keep praying he come just don't worry okay? now go to sleep you must be tired she said and I nodded smiling.

AMIR

Five months since I last saw my wife, the house feels empty with her, I miss her badly ,everytime i ask mama to let me see her she will reject saying I won't go let me know her worth before I go.
"This is emotional torture I can't take it anymore am going to see sabreen tomorrow with or without mama's permission...' I sighed massaging my forehead. the door bell rang but I ignore it. "Who is it? I asked myself heading downstairs.

"Farhan!!! I called looking at him.

"Can we talk, he said walking past me.

"So what is it?? I asked sitting.

"Where's sabreen?? He asked.

"What? Why are you asking?? I asked raising one eyebrow.

"Just!! Where is she?? He asked again upset.
