"We're almost there...", Sehun told me as he steered the car down an alleyway, "Get ready"
I held a tight grip on the handle of the brief case I was given. My palms started to sweat and every part of me was shaking. I tried to figure out where we were going, but it was too dark outside, and the rain was too heavy for me to see anything past the car window.
Sehun turned the car off. "There's a metal ladder up the side of that building", he explained, "Take that up to the rooftop"
I nodded and threw my hood on. The second I opened the car door, the sound of heavy rain was all around me. It was hard to see practically anything, but I tried my hardest to get to the ladder Sehun told me about.
Sehun wanted to show me the NCT Dream members in person before I was allowed to read their profile, so that I knew "who to look for". No one told me the names of any of the NCT Dream members...it was all for me to find out tonight.
My mind went 100 miles per hour as I climbed up the ladder.
I couldn't believe what I was doing. I wasn't the right girl for this job; I've never broken the law, or even thought of it. But money makes people do things we'd never imagine doing...Just look at me. I agreed to help kill a group of seven people.
Sehun helped me onto the rooftop. When I stood at the top, I looked all around me at the big city of Seoul. It was hard to believe that such a beautiful city had so much crime I didn't know about...And I was about to be a part of it.
"The boy we're looking for should walk out of that building any minute", Sehun pointed to a building across the street.
I could hear my heartbeat as I kept an eye on the door in the street below. The rain beat down on me as I laid on the cold cement, waiting to see who was going to step out.
The door opened.
I saw a young man throw his hood on and start walking into the alleyway.
He looked really familiar.
"That's him.", Sehun whispered to me as we watched him.
"That guy?", I kept trying to figure out who he was. I knew I saw him somewhere.
"Mhm"
Before I could ask any more questions, the boy stopped as he put dialed someone's number and put his phone up to his ear.
My phone started ringing...
My heart stopped. Maybe it was just coincidental that someone was calling me at the same time the boy called someone...I just got a little spooked, that's all.
I discreetly pulled my phone out of my hoodie pocket and read the caller ID.
Jeno is calling.
I accepted the call. "Hello?"
"Hey, Jiwoo?", Jeno replied, "Its Jeno..."
I tried to say something back...But it was damn hard to. I heard Jeno's voice on the other line...And his voice in the alleyway in front of me.
"Uh...Hey, what's up", I tried to talk as calmly as possible as I watched Jeno in front of me.
Jeno was one of the people I just agreed to kill.
