After everything that went on since my mom died, I didn't care what I sign up for anymore. It always just seemed like there was nothing to lose.

...Which explained why I offered to go to EXO's party. Alone.

It think its safe to say that everyone disagreed with me, but for some reason, I still thought it was worth a try.

I laid in my bed and stared at the ceiling. Ryujin and Lia were totally asleep.

I personally couldn't sleep, so I was just there. Some lifeless thing laying on a bed. I played with my hair, and listened to the fans in the room buzz.

I felt so desperate for answers.

Its like I was a solo detective with hundreds of open cases that I had to figure out on my own.

I slowly sat up and tossed my comforter aside. I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I stood up.

I was wide awake, bored and on the brink of going insane, so I figured I'd go grab a snack or something.

I quietly opened the door and made my way down to the kitchen.

When I got there, I passed Donghyuck who was on his way out.

"Fancy seeing you at two in the morning", he chuckled.

     I offered a weak smile.

"Hey, Jiwoo", someone said to me when I walked into the kitchen.

     Another person?

Since when was there so much night life?

      It was Jaemin.

"Oh, hey...", I said quietly, "I couldn't sleep"

He looked at me. "Is something wrong?"

Our eyes met, but eventually, I just got shy again and pretended to look around in the fridge.

"I'm alright...", I said, "Just tired"

He nodded and looked at his phone again.

Out of all the things we had in the fridge, I just got myself a cold bottled water.

I went to turn around and head back to my room...but then...I realized something.

This was my chance to get the answers I wanted.

I stopped walking and just stood there with my back facing Jaemin.

"Jiwoo?", Jaemin asked, "You sure you're ok?"

"Um...actually", I turned around, trying to get a hold of myself, "I had...a question for you"

"Is it the kinda of question that takes two seconds to answer?", he turned his phone off and had his eyes fixed on me, "Or do you want to sit down"

     I just shrugged.

He grinned. "Something bothering you, then?"

I walked next to the fridge and leaned on it. "Sorry, but", I started, "Yeah, there is something bothering me"

     He nodded.

"Its kind of a personal question, though", I continued.

"I'll try my best", Jaemin sighed and put his phone down.

Now was my chance; and at this point, there was no way to back down.

     "Y-You're", I stammered, "An orphan?"

Jaemin didn't look shocked...he just froze. He stood there blinking at me.

    "How the hell did you-"

"I'm so sorry", I immediately regretted bringing the subject up, "I just...ran into your profile and-"

"How'd you 'run into my profile'?", he raised his voice a little.

"Jaemin, I-", words just fell out of my mouth, "I didn't mean to..."

Things started to backfire on me and fast.

"There are so many people in Seoul", he stared at me with cold eyes, "There's no way you just 'ran into my profile'"

I bit my lip and played with the cuffs of the hoodie I had thrown on earlier.

"How much did you read about me, then?", he seemed to calm down.

I opened my mouth, "Nothing really, just-"

"I said" he tightened his grip on the kitchen counter and stared at me, "How. Much. Did. You. Read. About. Me.?"

"Nothing! Everything! I dunno!", I started to cry a little as the stress built up, "I didn't mean to bring anything personal up!"

" 'Anything personal'?!", Jaemin irritably ran his hands through his hair, "Don't you think my life would be a little personal for me?!"

My body slowly slid down the side of the fridge and I sat on the floor.

     I just cried.

There was nothing else I could do.

"Look, Jiwoo", Jaemin calmed down and walked next to me, "I know I may have overreacted", he crouched down and rubbed my back, "But my life is my life, ok? I'd appreciate it if you stopped trying to learn more about me"

I sniffled and looked up at him. "I can't."

     "You what?"

"I can't", I pushed his arm away from me and rubbed the tears from my eyes, "You accepted me as a part of the team. A team trusts each other. Stop hiding things from me."

"I'm not hiding things from you-"

"Yes", I stood up, "Yes, you are. I had no idea who 'Donghyuck' or 'Mark Lee' were. I still don't know who 'NCT 127' is, and I'm totally confused on why you and Kai are apart"

Jaemin kept his eyes on me as he slowly stood up.

"I'm not going to freaking talk to you", I went on, "If you can't tell me who you actually are"

"Then don't talk to me", Jaemin said.

      "W-What?"

"Don't talk to me", he swallowed hard, "I barely know you, and I'm not about to tell you everything about me"

      "I just wanted-"

"You were right", he looked at me with concentrated eyes, "A team trusts each other; but you don't earn that trust by digging through people's profiles"

I opened my mouth to say something, but I got interrupted again.

"Just stay out of it, Jiwoo"
