"Where the fuck have you been romero??" I questioned angrily as he finally arrived back to the beach house
"I've been out bro what's gone up your ass?" He spoke
"I told you to watch her and I show up today to you being gone ,this is YOUR JOB you can't just step out when you want too" I roared angrily
"How could I have been here when the girls weren't even here, i'm watching your fiance like you asked man you're acting like i don't get shit done when you asked" He replied
"I hope watching her is all you're doing" I emphasized the 'watching' part
"What do you mean?" Romeo quizzed
"That skylar girl you seem to like her i just don't want you getting too comfortable" I told him
"I'm just making sure I'm close enough to them ,to be able to watch over them better bro that's it" He assured
"If you say so fratello,cause she just might end up as collateral damage" I warned
"My job right now is to watch them and as far as I'm seeing there isnt any immediate danger so what the fuck do you mean collateral damage" He answered
"Are you sure?" I inquired
"Of course I'm sure why don't you see Mia as collateral too nick" Romeo stated
"Because she is mine and mine only,the key to the securing of our families' organization, the only damage done to her will be by me" I gritted out
"Don't fucking throw Skylar around like she's someone that can be layed to waste at anytime Mia would be in as much danger as skylar if a threat arises" he declared seeming pissed
"She can be laid to waste if an incident is to happen ,Skylar is just a figure there that can be gotten rid of,she is merely a pawn waiting to be removed ,you think the William's Family would miss her Romeo for the right price they'd forget the had a daughter but by the looks of it you have begun to like this whore so tell me brother have you?" I bellowed
"It has nothing to do with my feelings ,its respect for human life you prick ,you think Mia wouldn't figure out ,you made her best friend disappear and Mia already hates you ,what do you think would happen if you made skylar 'disappear' huh" He hissed
"Yes it fucking does you have one job Romeo I dont need you to mess it up because your dick twitched at the sight of her face ,how many people haven't you killed huh??? ,how many kids have you left without parents ,from your days as an assassin huh???? How many whores haven't you dumped outside your hotel room without a penny to their name huh Romeo 'Angelo della morte' Harandez even I haven't dropped as nearly as many bodies as you did" I raged
"You and I both know we never had a choice ,don't you it all haunts me what i've done ,why the fuck do you think i dont do the missions and drug runs anymore ,you're my brother but I'm not going to let you chastise me like I'm some newbie ,I execute my job to the full length of my ability and I will not kill unless given no option but to ,I will not kill a 19 year old girl who is only trying to protect her friend ,because i would do the same for you dammit ,you know what forget it" Romeo was fuming but so was I
"I wouldn't forget shit, I just might end up killing that one myself seeing she's keeping Mia from coming easily and I'm sure of it .Don't forget Romeo men like us don't fall in love it makes us look weak and we even become weak by it so stop acting like a pussy and do your job professionally" I retorted
"Fuck you and fuck off you need to stop seeing marriage as a piece of paper and as an arrangement made to look good or get benefits" He snapped
"Get a whore to do all the fucking you want and stop your bitching and then maybe you should start seeing things the way i do. I'm going,but just remember it's not like our type can actually be loved by another and tomorrow Diego will be coming to be your backup since you're having a conflict of interests" I snarled leaving the house with a ticked off Romeo standing in the living room .
Romeo Harandez' POV
Niklaus looked back at me with a scowl before slamming the door on his way out.
"FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK" I growled out picking up a vase and launching it to the wall.
Niklaus' will never understand ,I never chose this life I don't want this life ,It isn't about Skylar although she is amazing ,it's so easy to talk to her even though she is a little crazy and quirky. Niklaus was born into this he wanted this from the first time his dad took us to the underground, I on the other hand justed wanted to be normal ,i have always just wanted a normal life ,I don't care about the money,girls or drugs ,i could lose all that today and be fine. But I would lose the only woman in this world that understands me and loves me above anything else, my mother.
I've been holding him off from just kidnapping Mia but he hasn't taken my advice on at least being nice to his future wife. All he thinks of is force, nothing gentle crosses that man's mind I thought as I sat on the living room floor .
If he would just talk to her and at least have her not fear him.
But that fear of him in her might be just what he wants to always be there. I sat alone with my thoughts .
"What if he's right?" I said out loud. Could she ever love me?
I probably shouldn't even let her I'll just bring death and destruction along with me she surely doesn't deserve that this job just feels different and maybe it is
I just can't fuck this up.
Why can't I even focus on this one it's so unlike me I need to snap out if it soon
I raised my head to see Nik once again coming back into the house
"What now?" I spoke
"I just needed a minute to look at their house in the back because I need a report on what they've been up to" He asked.
"Yes we'll skip pass that like you aren't being creepy" I commented
"The girls haven't done anything big to report well maybe if you'll count them getting arrested tonight" I continued
"WHAT?Isn't she supposed to be one of those uptight rich girls what could possibly get her locked up" He spoke surprised
"This is what I'm talking about you don't even want to get to know her you just made up your made that she is a brat" I shook my head
"Just keep talking,what did they do?" He said
"Got into a fight and i ended up picking them up from the hospital the police officer weren't much of a problem of course" I told him
Mmmhm anything else? Nik mumbled
"Oh they also know Italian" I added
"Ok well keep finding out all you can,good job so far Romeo." He commended
"It's me so of course the job is good" I replied
"Diego is still coming though" He shouted going upstairs.
"AND FUCK YOU FOR BRINGING UP MY PAST YOU PRICK" I yelled
