Mia King's POV
'Where am I' I thought looking around in the darkness ,where is my daddy ,I'm supposed to go to a school debate today-
"With the coma she's in she may never wake up, her brain show minimal activity, even by some miracle she wakes we have no idea how severe is this head injury to her brain all we know now is that she was hit on the left side of the brain which is a indication that she can't just simply wake up normal" A voice said ,I looked around in the darkness to see who said that but I saw no one and who is in a coma.
"Doctor, is there anything else you could do for my daughter" A familiar voice spoke .
"No Mr. King ,this is all up to your daughter" the voice i first heard spoke in a subtle voice-
Wait Mr.King- "Dad ,dad ,daddyyyy ,I'm right here" I yelled into the darkness realizing who the familiar voice said.I heard the sound of shoes shuffling around and I thought my Dad had heard my cry.
"Mia sweetie you have to wake up ,Daddy can't lose you too" My father said as I felt a warm callous hand on my forearm.
"Dad, I'm right here ,can't you hear me" I shouted again into the darkness,when a stark realization dawned on me. I was the one in the coma.
How was I in a coma, I swear i was just in the kitchen eating breakfast ,did i fall off the stool. Where is my mother ,is she still at the country club. Am I going to die ,no ,no ,no ,I can't die there is still so much for me to do for God's sake I'm only fifteen ,me and sky haven't had our adventure yet. Oh my goodness Skylar does she think i ditch-
Before i could finish my thought ,my body started convulsing and erratically ,there was a pain in my head and my chest felt heavy.What I assume to be hospital machines started going off and not soon after I heard a patter of footsteps enter the room and person trying to hold my body.There hand on my had only increased my gut wrenching pain ,I was screaming into the darkness the pain was unbearable ,I started to force all my energy into opening my eyes,I can't no,no-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" an earsplitting ,gut wrenching scream left my mouth as i had found a miniscule amount of energy to open my eyes and scream.
As soon as the scream left my mouth ,I found myself drifting back to a dark abyss ,the last thing i heard was the complete stop of all the machines in the room.
Third Person's POV
"Shit we've got no pulse, NURSE GET ME THE DEFIBRILLATOR STAT!!!" Doctor Hale shouted to the nurse next to him . As he started a series of High-Frequency Chest Compressions.
"Is She dead doctor? What's happening?" Mr.King barged into the room, seeing the panicked nurses moving around as if they were on fire.
"Sir I need you to leave the room" The Doctor instructed as the nurse pushed Mr.King out the room and closed the door.
"1,2,3 CLEAR" Doctor hale yelled, trying to shock Mia King's heart back into rhythm
"Mia dear wake up please I can't lose you too" Mr. King busted into the room again but was held back by the nurses
"GET HIM OUTTTT!!!" Doctor Hale bellowed
'1,2,3 CLEAR'
'1,2,3 CLEAR'
"Doc I think we should call it" the nurse softly said ,fearing the doctors wrath, But doctor Hale just knew he could save Mia King
"No nurse, we can't lose this patient one more time just one more"
'1,2,3 CLEAR'
Beep
Beep
Beep
The sounds of the machines were heard coming back on to the shock of all the nurses in the room ,everyone was shocked except Doctor Hale he knew he could save Mia King
"Oh my god we did it" the nurse smiled.
"Check her vitals and everything else you need to do nurse, I'll go speak to the father" Doctor Hale told the her
"Yes doc" The nurse nodded.
"Is she ok please don't tell me my little girl is dead" her father rushed out as soon as he saw the doctor leave the room.
"Your daughter is alive ,she also miraculously came out of her coma before flat lining, so I do believe that by tomorrow morning you'll be able to talk to her" Doctor Hale informed Mr. King.
"Thank you so much" Mr King said with tears forming in his eyes ,for the first time in years Mr. King had been scared ,he had clearly forgotten how much he had loved his daughter,he had been so blinded by her mother's scheme to increase their wealth, he had forgotten his redheaded miracle of a daughter and he'll forever regret what he did as he is the cause of her current state,he'll forever regret snatching away her youth and he'll spend forever trying to earn his daughter's forgiveness as he truly and wholeheartedly could not lose his only daughter.
