MILES AND LEXIE WALKED INTO IRIS' HOUSE BEFORE SITTING ON HER COUCH—-maddie was pacing back and forth with a concerned look on her face,

"oh jesus christ what the fuck happened now..." lexie mutters in an annoyed tone of voice,

"when chief harbour traced the number... all it did was lead to an abandoned house..." maddie says with worry,

"...he said there were just upside down crosses everywhere and the whole place was trashed..." she continued,

as maddie continued talking lexie felt her cellphone buzz in her pocket as iris' house was a place that she actually got service at,

it was a text message from an unknown number,

1-***-***-****: meet me at the woods in twenty minutes, come alone. if you bring/tell anyone i will kill all of your friends.

lexie's eyes widened in fear as she read the text message causing miles to turn his head in concern,

"you okay lexie?" miles says as he tried to read her phone but lexie swiped the phone away instantly,

"y-yeah! just some drama with my old friends back at home..." she tries to lie while awkwardly laughing,

miles knew something was off but he didn't want to pry about it in front of everyone so he just slowly nodded before paying attention to maddie again.

lexie knew that she needed to go now if she wanted to get to the woods on time, she needed to think of something fast,

"uh... i'll be back im going to go use the uh... bathroom..." she awkwardly says as everyone narrowed their eyes at her,

she just seemed off... and everyone noticed it.

before anyone could say anything she stood up and walked to the bathroom, leaving everyone confused at her awkward and unusual behavior.

when she got to the bathroom she shut the door and locked it before going over to the window and sliding it open,

she shoved her phone in her pocket before climbing out of the window and running as fast as she could away from the house.

she really was hoping she wouldn't die tonight.

after about a fifteen minute walk she was at the gate of the woods, her breathing began to pick up out of fear,

meeting only god knows who in the woods at night is one of the most dangerous things, she was terrified.

but she knew she had to keep her head high and not let her fear show for a second,

"i'm surprised you came..." she hears a voice from behind her, she turned around before seeing a familiar face,

the kid from the bar.

"aidan grenade?" she questions as she looks at him, his expression didn't look too amused at her cocky remark,
