ADELINE is a sweet, 16 year old girl who lives in New York with her 2 older brothers, her mother, and her father. Her dad's side of the family has been running a huge fashion company for about a century so she easily gets seen as a rich brat but is actually a quiet, well-mannered child. She does not enjoy the pressure that's put on her to be 'picture perfect' for her family's reputation. She is intelligent and friendly but can be very unpredictable at times.

TIMOTHEE is a 16 year old boy who lives in Northern Italy with his Italian mother and his French father. His mother is an artist and his father is a psychiatrist. His family lives a comfortable life in the middle class, but will never be able to achieve the wealth of Adeline's family. He works as a mail boy at a post office in town as he enjoys listening to people talk and going on adventures. He is very optimistic but is reckless and irresponsible at times.
