chapter 22- jersey

third person's pov.

some students stared as hayato passed by with a wiggling suiran on top of his shoulder.

he carried her like she was a sack. she wasn't too heavy unlike what he thought.

"hayato.. put me down please.." she tiredly said as she weakly punches his back.

he just shook his head before finally arriving at their destination which was the back of the abandoned building.

he placed her down on the grass gently and when she finally got down, she patted her skirt clean before turning away to leave.

but of course hayato had other plans. quickly grabbing her wrist to make her stop before finally speaking " sui." he simply said.

she sighed tilting her head up after feeling her eyes water. her heart thumped loudly just by hearing him call her name...i seriously have a problem, she thought as she tried her best to stop the tears.

finally composing herself, she turned around to face him. finally looking into his eyes.

her face void of emotions but he can see through her eyes... his face softens seeing how glossy they were.

he tugged her hand, pulling her into his chest and hugging her softly. she didn't know why but she felt at peace.. it's like she completely forgot what happened earlier.

"im sorry" he stated which made her confused.

with her eyebrows scrunched she looked up to him, seeing that he was already looking down at her.

"you dont have to be sorry.. it's not like we're dating anyways-"

"then go out with me."he simply stated.

suiran tensed. she completely blanked out upon hearing his words.

as his words slowly sunk into her, she felt her face heating up, in a total state of being flustered as he let go of her, taking off his jersey jacket.

he wrapped it around her shoulders as she only stood there with a red face, staring at his flushed cheeks.

"y-you don't have to respond immediately ok?.. you can take your time-"

"i like you." she blurted out before turning into darker shades of reds.

he felt his heart thump louder than ever before, that he was scared that she'd be able to hear it.

he couldn't help but smile at her cute behavior to which she smiled back.. happy that she can make him smile.

he couldn't take it anymore, gently pulling her close by her waist, he closed the gap between their lips, kissing her in a soft gentle way.

he felt her smile between the kiss as she responds to his kisses, wrapping her arms around his neck, playing with his short soft locks of raven hair

"dont take that jacket off ok?" he reminded her once again as they held hands, walking around the school.

she giggled as she nodded, making him smile as he stared at her. how did i get so Lucky? he thought as he smiled.

the jersey jacket was large on her which looked adorable for his eyes, and the fact that people would know that she's dating him just by seeing her walked around wearing it, brought a smile to his face.

looks like i won, taka. he thought.

they stopped infront of the building where they would have to part. hayato still has baseball practice and suiran also has dance practice so they really had to part.

she gently let go of his hand but he playfully held on to it again, interwining their fingers which made her giggle at his childishness.

she never thought that he had a clingy side.

"yatooo i have to go" she said in a whiney voice making him chuckle deeply.

that was hot- i meant cute! ,she though.

"ok.. see you then" he said with a gentle smile as he ruffled her hair.

she smiled, tiptoing to place a peck on his lips before running away into the building, leaving him dumbfounded with a blushing face.

"SUI CHAN HAS A BOYFRIEND!~" Aoi immediately screamed as soon as her eyes landed on the jersey her bandmate was wearing.

suiran chuckled shyly whilst scratching the back of her neck out of embarrassment as she walked to the four who were sitting down looking tired.

im sure they didn't even practice that long to be that tired looking, she thought as she sweatdropped at the four

"lemme guess who the lucky bastard is" mari spouted with a smirk as suiran sat down beside them.

immediately earning a smack from kaira, she yelped. "language mari, language." the older one stated,shaking her head.

"yeah! our babies can hear you!" Aoi said immediately swinging her arms over hashiro and Suiran's ears.

since they were basically the younger members of the group.

"oooOhh~ kamitani the baseball guy eh"  hashiro stated with a wiggling eyebrow making suiran smack her.

"shut it" she simply said trying to stop her smile.

"Ooohh~ is he hot?" Mari asked making the girls laugh.

"y-yeah." suiran said quickly placing her hands on top of her face in embarrassment as the girls continued to squeal and tease her.

"ok That's enough! let's go practice!" Kaira said with a loud clap making the girl's groan.

"I'll go visit the kid's for a little while!"  suiran said as soon as Kaira announced a break.

mari's ear almost shook with excitement, quickly standing up to follow suiran"eh?~ lemme come-"

she was stopped by hashiro, kaira and aoi.

"no no, you'll nosebleed" hashiro said in disapproval.

"and we cant risk you spilling blood all over the poor babies!" kaira said with a giggle.

mari sighed in dismay as she fell to the ground dramatically.

suiran laughed at her dramatic actions as she ran out the door.

as soon as she arrived near the daycare she spotted ryuiichi with a crying kirin.

the kids gathered around them and she happen to overhear what the commotion was about as her grandma, the chairman was already there talking.

" it'll take you a hundred years of training before you can even be areal witch!" oba san said which made suiran giggle.

ahh so it's still about kirin wanting to be a witch, she thought as she arrived near them. im guessing by the broom that she tried to fly earlier?

"she's right kirin," sui stated catching the children's attention. "but being a witch isn't just about flying a broom..." she continued as she crouched beside ryuiichi.

placing her hand behind kirin's ear she magically pulls out a coin, showing it to the kids. "... you should also learn magic" she finished as the kids awed in amazement.

" UWAA! SUI NEECHAMA IS COOL!" The kids shouted as they bombarded her with questions.

she shared a knowing giggle with ryuiichi knowing fully well that he saw the secret behind the magic trick.

"are? that jersey?" usaida said from behind. " Ah! you're dating kamitani eh~"
