Our Once Upon A Time

Chapter 11

HARRY POV

Holly put her left hand on my lower arm and held the ember in her right hand. She held the ember over the cut and closed her eyes. 

The ember began to glow brightly. She moved it in circular motions directly over the wound which slowly began to repair itself. I looked down at it in awe. She opened her eyes which were the brightest blue I've ever seen them, the exact same color of the ember. The ember glowed brighter, so bright the light from it made the wound look like it wasn't even there. 

It only took about 30 seconds before the pain of the cut was gone. She flipped her hand around and ran it over the place where the cut was with the back of her hand. With that, the embers glow decreased and her hair went back to the dark blue and her eyes faded to a lighter blue. She moved her hand to reveal the skin looked like it hadn't ever had a cut in it. Not even a scar was left. 

She stood up but kept her hand on my arm and tossed the ember back to Mal who was wide-eyed and staring along with everyone else. I stood up and hugged her. I put my hand gently on the back of her head. She went ahead and wrapped her arms around me and hugged back. She laughed a little,

"Okay then, what's this?"

She asked quietly,

"A thank ye for putting meh out of my misery"

"Ah okay then, you're welcome"

"That was awesome!"

The mystery girl said as she and Carlos stood next to each other,

"Why thank you, I try. Also, who are you?"

"Oh, how rude of me, I'm Jane. Fairy Godmothers daughter"

I looked down to see a sinister smirk go on Holly's face. She patted my back twice and pulled away from the hug and walked over to Jane,

"Oh alright then"

She stopped a few feet away from Jane. Carlos pulled Jane closer to him in a very protective manner,

"You two are just..."

She let that smile that kills me every time go on her face,

"...adorable"

She said almost angrily. She was pulled back by Mal,

"Ben wants to meet you"

She said quietly mainly probably trying to get her away from Jane and Carlos. She walked over to Ben. She looked at him up and down and hummed,

"I don't know what you see in him Mal, he kinda looks like a mess at the moment"

I don't know why she would say that to be completely honest. She's said stuff like that before that has just confused me to no end and it's normally to Mal. What I did love was that she didn't bow to Ben, nor did she address him properly,

"He's not always a mess H"

Mal said with a laugh. Ben bowed to Holly,

"Welcome to Auradon, sorry it was under these circumstances"

"It's fine, the circumstances don't bother me, Benjamin"

She said. I laughed a little she turned around and walked over to me and stood next to me. She leaned against the table and put each hand on the edge table. I just wanted to "accidentally" land my hand on hers but that's something that scares me and I don't get scared easily. 

HOLLY POV

After some talking, we now know that Ben knows where Fairy Cottage is so we split into two groups, one to go find Fairy Godmother which included Gil, Doug, and Jane, and of course the rest of the group including me to head to the cottage. 

Beforehand we went back into the mansion so we could take a five-minute rest break and for everyone to finalize any plans if they had questions which honestly, is kinda stupid but okay.

I strolled past and peered into the room with the twins and Dizzy in to now see that the twins were having nightmares, I did a quick visual check, no one was near me. Perfect.

 I quietly walked up to them and crouched down on the floor beside them. I took a second and just looked at them as they seemed to flinch in unison, didn't know that was a twin thing but I won't question it. I brought my hands up and brushed both of their hair, one with each hand. I whispered in the most gentle voice I had,

"Shhh, it's alright, it's all gonna be okay. I'm gonna make sure of that, for all of you. Only good thoughts for me"

They slowly began to stop flinching and little smiles spread on their sleeping faces. I cooed, I might not seem like the 'deals with kids well' type but I'm surprisingly good at it, no one needs to know that though. 

I readjusted the blanket over them and even tucked it in some sides of the blanket into the couch for extra comfort. I heard a coo from behind me which made me whip my head around. In the doorway stood nonother than Harry himself, a dorky smile on his face and all, one hand in pocket. I sighed and slowly turned back around as I knew he was going to come up to me. He quietly walked over and crouched down next to me. He looked at the twins silently and began to brush their hair too since I had paused doing so,

"They don't deserve this"

He murmured. I sighed,

"That's why we're here, to make it all better for them and their future. They're gonna wake up and be able to spend the rest of their lives in peace"

Harry looked over at me which led me to look at him,

"I never thought of ya as the type ta actually like kids ya know, let alone being so calm"

I smiled and quietly laughed,

"I have a knack for it, but you're the only one that knows so please don't ruin that for me"

He took a second to think before holding up his pinky finger. I furrowed my brow,

"I pinky promise I won't"

He said with a dorky smile. I looked away from him for a second to smile before looking back to him and holding up my pinky and locking it with his,

"Uma! Holly! Harry! We're leaving now!"

I heard Mal yell. I sighed and looked at Harry. We both stood up and I walked out first, I turned around to see if Harry was actually following to see him lightly kiss both of the twin's foreheads. I've heard him talk about the twins a lot, I guess I forgot how close he actually is with them. I quickly turned around and cooed to myself, hoping he wouldn't notice that I saw that. I don't know what's happening to me but I'm feeling way more giddy and soft about that then I should.

Hiya! This chapter is a bit of a treat innit? We got both Harry and Hollys POV in it for once! This was originally two separate chapters, but it looked silly so I decided to combine em (again). Remember to stay hydrated as always :D
