I held the ember firmly in my hand. I looked up and saw Celia dangling from one of the towers as Audrey cackled, pointing the staff at her as if she were threatening to shoot her down,

"SOMEBODY HELP!"

She screamed. I used the ember and closed my eyes as I hovered my hand over Mal's injury, healing it in a matter of seconds. I opened my glowing eyes,

"Mal, get Celia. I'll handle the princess"

I said firmly as I pointed up to Celia. She nodded and took flight once again. I for one sprinted into the castle, taking the ember with me. Right before I went into the castle I turned around,

"And you two, Uma be on deck for healing and backup. Harry, you might need to reel my temper back in if I get out of hand. I'm not planning on holding back towards this bitch"

After that now I ran inside the castle, the few people that were in there were asleep of course. I used the ember and let it lead the way. I went up the stairs three steps at a time. I had sprinted up a number of staircases now, I turned and saw one that called to me. I heard a familiar voice, but I couldn't tell you who it was, guiding me to the door which led to a large spiral staircase. I began scaling it as quickly as possible, the male voice coaching me along the way,

"You know your power, but don't get carried away. Keep the love in your heart and don't let go or else your natural instincts will overpower you"

I nodded once, still wildly confused by who I'm talking to by the way,

"Cool poetic statement, but who the hell are you?"

I said, somewhat out of breath as I got to the top of the staircase,

"You'll see"

Was all they said,

"This is really not the time to be fucking cryptic but alright"

I got to the top and I was now on the roof, I locked Audrey in my sight, my internal ember just burning to show this bitch who she's messed with. Then out of nowhere a crash of thunder filled everyone's ears and a strike of lightning shot across the sky,

"Zeus? I haven't seen you in a hot minute eh?"

I said to seemingly no one,

"That's it, raise the ember to the sky"

The voice said. Audrey had turned to look to me now, she aimed the staff at me. I didn't care though, I raised my hand with the ember in it to the sky, keeping my eyes locked on her and the scepter so I could halt the scepters fire. A strike of lightning came down and stuck the ember, I felt a refreshing but startling shock shake through my system because that shock ran through into the ember in my system.

I brought the ember down to my eyes, it was glowing almost as bright as the sun would now. As Audrey fired at me, I wasn't paying attention. However, a single strike of lightening intercepted the attempted fire. I shot my head up to see it,

"That's all I'll help you with now, it's your time to show the gods what you're made of, show me and your father what you're made of"

I smirked and nodded once and remembered my roots. I brought myself back to who I was,

I am Holland, daughter of Hades the ruler of the Underworld, heir to my fathers crown, and last but not least, I am more powerful than the privileged fuck standing in front of me

I thought to myself, I smirked as I braced myself for Audrey's incoming blast. I deflected it easily with the ember, easily just absorbing or deflecting the shots. She proceeded to try to overwhelm me with a large amount of weaker attacks, I simply dodged all of her attacks either by moving out of the way or deflecting them with the ember,

"Enough of this!"

Audrey yelled, finally. Took her long enough to start this. I braced and planted my feet and put the ember up and in front of me, at the same level as my eyes to be exact. Audrey sent the most powerful of attacks now. She aimed the scepter and sent a bolt of green magic at me at lightning speed. I matched it by sending a blue fire strike which met the green bolt right in the middle. Now, this was what I was waiting for.

I ignited my hair once again, my eyes all blue now, the power in my hands surging through my entire body. I felt the energy storming through my veins, I've never felt this much power in me before.

I leaned into Audrey's attack before taking a step forward, pushing her back. My body was shaking, somewhat from exhaustion but also due to the adrenaline rush. I took another step before bringing my other hand to hold the ember, then I focused on the ember half inside my chest. I closed my eyes, it was the perfect time to surge and use all of the power I had left in me.

I got the half of the ember which was in my chest to release its power and got its power to come out into its other half. The surge was intense, the power now coming from my own hands into the ember to charge it up to the extreme. I felt the surge almost ending, but Audrey was weak. I opened my eyes to see that my fire was maybe a foot away from reaching her staff, which would ultimately override it and defeat her. She began to scream some, not from terror, but from anger and exhaustion. I had to end it now before the surge was over. I leaned into the ember as much as I could before letting out a growly scream which happened right as the ember shot out the last bit of surge it had. With that it reached the scepter, causing a bright flash of light and causing me to collapse from exhaustion.
